Concealed Nation
#DIGTHERIG – Logan and his Glock 30 in an Alien Gear Holster
I carry a Glock 30 in an Alien Gear Holster 3.0 IWB
I carry the Glock 30 because I get 11 rounds of .45 in a small package not much bigger than the Glock 19. I carry in the Alien Gear 3.0 IWB for concealment and comfort.
Missouri Wants To Expand Concealed Carry And Castle Doctrine
JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI — A new bill in the Missouri House, sponsored by Representative Eric Burlison, looks to allow state residents to carry concealed in locations where open carry is currently permitted. All without a permit.
“If you, as a law-abiding citizen, are legally allowed to own and carry a firearm for self-defense, then you’re legally allowed to carry that firearm for self-defense with no additional paperwork,” said Burlison. “We will get out of the business of trying to tell people how they are going to choose to carry the firearm that they legally have the right to already carry.”
The bill would also expand the current Castle Doctrine laws in the state by allowing visitor in a home to use deadly force to defend themselves or others, with permission to have a firearm at the home by the homeowner.
The last change that the bill would bring is to force businesses to allow firearms to be kept in vehicles that are on the business’ property.
House members voted 112-37 to advance the bill to the Senate.
#DIGTHERIB – Bryce and his Springfield XDs in a Fobus IWB Holster
I carry a Springfield XDS in .45 acp loaded with 230 grain Federal Tactical HST. I use a Fobus IWB holster. I also usually carry at least one spare magazine. I chose this weapon because of it’s reliability and because it packs the punch of 45 and is easily concealable. The HSTs punch a whole the size of a quarter.
#DIGTHERIG – Craig and his Sig Sauer P320 Compact
This here is a 2015 Sig Sauer P320 compact chambered in 9mm, it’s rig?? A black kydex holster made by centermass concealment.. The holster comes with a lifetime warranty, also belt loops and clips so you can switch it from OWB to IWB, right now since it’s winter I rock the OWB with an open jacket.

Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0
Been a fan and owner of many Springfield products for quality, reliability, and ergonomics.
On a side note this is a holster upgrade from a previous post I submitted to your Facebook page regarding the issues of the draw string on my coat that you wrote an article about.
#DIGTHERIG – Nick and his CZ P-07 in an Alien Gear Holster
1. CZ P-07

My name is Nathan and this is my rig. Glock 19, custom horizontal mag pouch, StealthGear Onyx holster, and 124gr. HST’s.
#DIGTHERIG – Bob and his Smith and Wesson 6904 and Beretta Nano
Top weapon is my Smith and Wesson 6904 next to its Kirkpatrick shoulder holster. Bottom weapon is my Beretta Nano with its Alien Gear 2.0 holster. On the bottom right is my Gerber Guardian I. Since Alien Gear does not support the 6904, I went with the shoulder rig. Both holsters work great, and I use either one when I carry.
#DIGTHERIG – Doug and his Glock 26
Glock 26 tucked in alien gear holster. The glock is reliable and easy to conceal. I use the alien gear holster for comfort and quality.

Fake Gun Saves Teen From Kidnapper
KINGSLEY, MICHIGAN — A runaway teen was being held captive inside a car, and it’s a fake gun that ultimately saved her from her kidnapper.
The 16-year-old broke free after being held in the car for two weeks, according to police.
While they were driving, she threw her cell phone out a window, prompting the suspect to stop the car and allow her to retrieve it, police said.
Once she got out of the car to retrieve the phone, she high-tailed it to a nearby home and was calling out for help. The suspect, a 21-year-old, forced his way into the home and refused demands to leave by the resident. After the refusal, the resident grabbed a decorative firearm that was hanging on the wall and used it to force the man outside.
Police quickly arrested the man for home invasion and domestic assault.
The details behind the entire ordeal are slim, but I can’t help but wonder how thing would have ended up if the resident hadn’t displayed the fake gun as a real one. It’d be speculation, but this is still another example of the importance of being prepared for the unexpected.
Man Holds Burglar At Gunpoint After He Attempts To Break Into Neighbors Home, Likely Saving Lives
Two alert neighbors are credited with thwarting an armed man’s attempt at breaking into a home with a metal pole.
A son alerted his father after he saw a man jump the neighbor’s fence and began an attempt to kick in the back door. At the time, a woman and children were said to be inside the home.
The father went over and began yelling at the man to stop. That’s when the man started moving towards the father with a metal pole, swinging it and threatening to kill him. The father, armed with a gun, pointed it at the man and convinced him to put the pole down and get on the ground.
When police arrived, they took 42-year-old Frederick D. Orr into custody on charges of first-degree burglary and felony harassment-threats to kill.
No one was injured during the incident.
Thanks to this alert son and armed neighbor who sprung into action, everyone is safe. Who knows what would have happened if the man had entered the home, and that’s something we don’t want to know.

Alien Gear IWB Cloak Tuck 3.0
I carry the Ruger SR40c for the compact design and still have the stopping power (if needed). Use the Alien Gear IWB Cloak Tuck 3.0, like the design and very comfortable to wear. Not to mention the Iron Clad Triple Guarantee.
#DIGTHERIG – Jeff and his Sig P290RS Liberty
Carry a Sig P290RS Liberty (9mm).
Most often, I use the injection molded holster with it, but I also use these others I have. I carry the extra mag in a SnagMag holder, Spyderco knife and a Sparker tactical light.
I selected this pistol because it fits me well, it is top notch in reliability! It’s DAO trigger provides the same feedback on every pull. Normally, I carry strong side hip.
#DIGTHERIG – John and his Glock 27
Hey, I am John and my rig is a Glock 27 Gen4 in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB with 5.11 Operator belt. I also carry a Glock 30 in similar rig. The Supertuck is really comfortable and I don’t even know my Glocks are there. The 5.11 belt doesn’t stretch and wears well and supports my rig with ease.
WATCH: “Why Won’t My Laser Work?” This Gun Owner Makes A Big Mistake At The Range
If you’re allergic to stupid, don’t watch the above video.
Here’s the video caption to get you started:
Idiot at the gun range trying to figure out why his laser isn’t working. His friend obviously came from the same shallow end of the gene pool.
In the video, we see two people in a bay at the range, and they’re trying to figure out why the gun’s laser isn’t working properly. At some point, the man’s friend comes over to investigate the issue.
This is where you’ll start yelling at your screen. The man starts to put his hand in front of the gun, trying to see if the laser is working. NO. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO THIS.
I’m watching and thinking… don’t do what I think you’re about to do. Just don’t do it. You aren’t that stupid, correct?
I was wrong. Once again, I underestimate the brain power of a fellow gun owner.
Watch the video, cringe, and pass this along to make sure that others don’t make this completely avoidable mistake.
#DIGTHERIG – Mike and his Glock 23
Glock 23 in a iwb Raw Dog tactical holster and because it conceals very well and is very comfortable.
#DIGTHERIG – Trey and his S&W M&P Bodyguard 380
1. I carry a S&W M&P Bodyguard 380.
2. I carry it in a Crossbreed Mini Tuck in horsehide.
3. I carry this gun all the time. I really like it because I can easily carry it in the summer when I wear shorts and can sometimes forget it is there. My Crossbreed holds it close and snug, but it is still there and I can get to it quick.
State Rep Wants Concealed Carry Fee Discount For Veterans
SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS — Legislation introduced in Illinois would provide a half-off discount for veterans when applying for their state concealed carry permit. The cost for residents, currently $150, would be knocked down to $75 for veterans.
The bill, HB6111, is currently making its way through the House.
Representative Avery Bourne (R-Raymond) is sponsoring legislation. “This bill is a way to give back to those who have served and sacrificed so much for our freedoms,” Rep. Bourne explains.
Illinois became the last state in the Country to allow concealed carry, which became law in July of 2013. The process to begin filing applications began a few months later. State police granted 55,486 permits in 2015 statewide, compared to 95,546 in 2014.
Taco Stand Employee Shoots And Kills One Of Three Robbers
By Luke McCoy via USA Carry
Priomo’s Tacos normally sets up a stand on the corner of Century Boulevard and San Pedro in South Los Angeles most evenings. Last Friday was a regular day until three men decided to order a side of robbery with their tacos. Around 11:30 pm, three men showed up to rob the stand. One of the men pulled a handgun.
That’s when one of the taco stand employees pulled his own gun and fired at the robber that drew his weapon first fatally hitting him. He died after being brought to the hospital. The other two men are still at large.
The police are saying that the taco stand employee was acting in self defense. Lt. Dohmen had this to say.
Lt. Dohmen says that it appears the employee who shot the would-be robber was acting in self-defense. The fact that he was packing heat while slinging burritos is probably a result of the fact that the stand is set up in one of L.A.’s more dangerous neighborhoods.
Apparently the stand is in a bad neighborhood and gets robbed frequently.
