Housekeeping: Retraction
Earlier today, TTAG published a post (With Apologies to Eric Clapton) Miculek is God. As a reader pointed out, that was a highly insensitive thing to do on Christmas Day. Believe it or not, the post was written a few days ago and kept getting pushed forward. No matter. He’s right. I apologize for putting that article out there today. As for my GF’s satirical post – which I’ve also sent into the memory hole – let’s just say I’ve promised not to write articles about machine guns for her blog. We now return you to your regularly scheduled TTAG, while I savor a slice of humble pie after acting like a turkey.

Question of the Day: Whadjya Get for Christmas?
While we’re sure you’re thrilled if Santa dropped an iPhone 6, a PlayStation 4 or an 18V DeWalt cordless hammer drill under your tree last night, we really don’t care. What we would like to hear about, though, are any ballistically oriented baubles the jolly old elf may have left for you. If you were on his naughty list, we’re sorry to hear that. You’ll probably figure out something useful to do with that lump of coal. And that should give you something to work toward in the new year. If, however, you were on his nice list, have fun with your new haul and don’t shoot your eye out. So whadjya get?

Merry Christmas from TTAG
May Santa leave exactly what you wanted under your tree. May you spend the day with all of your favorite people, eat most of your favorite foods and avoid that annoying in-law who never fails to drive you freakin’ crazy. To the best readers in the gunoverse, have yourself a merry little Christmas (and a happy new year).

Graphic Reveals More Shootings By Police Officers in Anti-Gun Areas
Reader Steve S. writes:
I might be wrong, but I sure see a correlation between the the areas with the (apparent) worst police violence, and also being most anti-gun. You? [source: killedbycops.org]
