After the bleak Amsterdam 1928 Olympics with no shooting events, the 1932 Games in Los Angeles, Calif., included multiple matches. However, bad communication and other problems developed at the 1932 Olympic shooting events. For starters, the Organizing Committee built a 50-meter range that wasn't 50 meters long.
