Police Chief Steve Mexin is proposing the most restrictive air gun ordinances in the state of Illinois. If passed, it would be illegal to practice marksmanship using an air gun or BB gun in your own home. We are asking all firearm owners and freedom loving citizens to oppose this over-reaching ordinance.

Photo via Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown of a package that had been emptied of its contents on Southport Avenue last week.  Chicago police wouldn’t take a report because the package recipient never took possession of the merchandise.

The new Field and Stream store has opened within the last month in Champaign.  It’s a big store, with hundreds (if not over a thousand) of guns and pallets (and I mean pallets) of ammunition.

Was he looking to educate people about gun safety (definitely not) or was he more concerned about his own safety buying a gun or ammunition?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

It’s a pilgrimage every serious gun owner should make at least once in their life.
