Concealed Nation
#DIGTHERIG – Jeff and his Sig P290RS Liberty
Carry a Sig P290RS Liberty (9mm).
Most often, I use the injection molded holster with it, but I also use these others I have. I carry the extra mag in a SnagMag holder, Spyderco knife and a Sparker tactical light.
I selected this pistol because it fits me well, it is top notch in reliability! It’s DAO trigger provides the same feedback on every pull. Normally, I carry strong side hip.
#DIGTHERIG – John and his Glock 27
Hey, I am John and my rig is a Glock 27 Gen4 in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB with 5.11 Operator belt. I also carry a Glock 30 in similar rig. The Supertuck is really comfortable and I don’t even know my Glocks are there. The 5.11 belt doesn’t stretch and wears well and supports my rig with ease.
WATCH: “Why Won’t My Laser Work?” This Gun Owner Makes A Big Mistake At The Range
If you’re allergic to stupid, don’t watch the above video.
Here’s the video caption to get you started:
Idiot at the gun range trying to figure out why his laser isn’t working. His friend obviously came from the same shallow end of the gene pool.
In the video, we see two people in a bay at the range, and they’re trying to figure out why the gun’s laser isn’t working properly. At some point, the man’s friend comes over to investigate the issue.
This is where you’ll start yelling at your screen. The man starts to put his hand in front of the gun, trying to see if the laser is working. NO. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO THIS.
I’m watching and thinking… don’t do what I think you’re about to do. Just don’t do it. You aren’t that stupid, correct?
I was wrong. Once again, I underestimate the brain power of a fellow gun owner.
Watch the video, cringe, and pass this along to make sure that others don’t make this completely avoidable mistake.
#DIGTHERIG – Mike and his Glock 23
Glock 23 in a iwb Raw Dog tactical holster and because it conceals very well and is very comfortable.
#DIGTHERIG – Trey and his S&W M&P Bodyguard 380
1. I carry a S&W M&P Bodyguard 380.
2. I carry it in a Crossbreed Mini Tuck in horsehide.
3. I carry this gun all the time. I really like it because I can easily carry it in the summer when I wear shorts and can sometimes forget it is there. My Crossbreed holds it close and snug, but it is still there and I can get to it quick.
State Rep Wants Concealed Carry Fee Discount For Veterans
SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS — Legislation introduced in Illinois would provide a half-off discount for veterans when applying for their state concealed carry permit. The cost for residents, currently $150, would be knocked down to $75 for veterans.
The bill, HB6111, is currently making its way through the House.
Representative Avery Bourne (R-Raymond) is sponsoring legislation. “This bill is a way to give back to those who have served and sacrificed so much for our freedoms,” Rep. Bourne explains.
Illinois became the last state in the Country to allow concealed carry, which became law in July of 2013. The process to begin filing applications began a few months later. State police granted 55,486 permits in 2015 statewide, compared to 95,546 in 2014.
Taco Stand Employee Shoots And Kills One Of Three Robbers
By Luke McCoy via USA Carry
Priomo’s Tacos normally sets up a stand on the corner of Century Boulevard and San Pedro in South Los Angeles most evenings. Last Friday was a regular day until three men decided to order a side of robbery with their tacos. Around 11:30 pm, three men showed up to rob the stand. One of the men pulled a handgun.
That’s when one of the taco stand employees pulled his own gun and fired at the robber that drew his weapon first fatally hitting him. He died after being brought to the hospital. The other two men are still at large.
The police are saying that the taco stand employee was acting in self defense. Lt. Dohmen had this to say.
Lt. Dohmen says that it appears the employee who shot the would-be robber was acting in self-defense. The fact that he was packing heat while slinging burritos is probably a result of the fact that the stand is set up in one of L.A.’s more dangerous neighborhoods.
Apparently the stand is in a bad neighborhood and gets robbed frequently.

While it’s impossible to prepare for every situation or predict exactly how we will respond, a training plan that simulates real-life scenarios can help. Ultimately, the key to surviving a life-threatening confrontation is the determination to persevere, prevail and never give up.
#DIGTHERIG – This Guy and his Springfield XDs 3.3″ 9mm
My EDC carry rig is a Springfield Armory XDS 3.3 Bi-Tone 9mm.
My Holster is an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 IWB.
I love the XDS because it is accurate, reliable and even during summer carry it disappears nicely under a Tee Shirt in the Alien Gear Holster.
#DIGTHERIG – Mike and his Sig Sauer P938 Scorpion
My Sig Sauer P938 Scorpion
I carry in a cheap Blackhawk IWB holster (planning on getting a nice holster soon). I love to carry the P938 it is very small and light so it’s easily concealed and very accurate and reliable. The holster works well, it’s easy to holster/unholster while still holding the gun securely while carrying and it’s very comfortable. I always carry a second magazine with me, they are small single stack mags and it fits right in the small extra pocket on jeans.
#DIGTHERIG – This Guy and his Springfield 1911 Ultra Compact .45
Springfield 1911 ultra compact .45
Alien gear IWB first gen. I own two; one for my 1911 and one for my XD .40
Most comfortable holster I’ve used and love the fact if I get a new gun all I have to do is order the shell or trade for free.
Be Tactical: Learn How To Do The “Count Dracula Draw” In This Video
As funny as the name sounds, it’s a very useful draw in certain situations. Steve of Sentinel Concepts shows the world how to perform the Count Dracula Draw, and when it makes sense to use this type of draw in a defensive situation.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen this demonstrated, but this is hands-down the best video demonstration I’ve come across.
Homeowner’s Armed Son Thwarts Two Burglars During Attempted Home Invasion
TACOMA, WASHINGTON — An adult son left home alone was able to stop two home intruders from gaining access to his parents’ abode. The property was broken into prior to this event and it was a fortunate turn of events that the son just happened to be home when the home intruders likely returned for round two.
According to the News Tribute, the home had previously been broken into and guns and a laptop were stolen. This time, the son was able to scare them away by presenting his rifle and yelling.
Sometimes, that’s all it takes.
However, it’s never something I’d personally like to count on.
Protect yourself, protect your home, protect your family, but there’s absolutely no reason to give away your position and the fact you’re armed. These guys were allegedly through the window and on their way in when they encountered the son. He resolved this problem without a fight but you can count they’ll be back at someone else’s abode.
As a concealed carrier, we don’t like doing warnings. Folks stole guns. Even if they didn’t bring them back to use on the second attempt, that’s a hard assumption to make.
#DIGTHERIG – Francisco and his Glock 22
1. Glock 22
2. Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC
3. I’ve tried 3 hybrid holsters from different manufacturers. Fairly easy to conceal a full size gun in this holster. High quality materials. The full size frame makes this Glock one of my primary choices.
#DIGTHERIG – Steven and his Glock 19
I carry a glock 19 gen 3
I carry it in a bravo concealment D.O.S holster with a spare mag in their mag carrier.
The reason I carry the glock 19 is because the fit and feel of the gun in my hand. Also love the reliability and accuracy of a glock. I carry it in the bravo concealment holster because it is extremely comfortable and hides the profile of the gun.
