Guns Save Life

Jesse Jackson’s clown car circus came to Chuck’s Guns more than once in the past.  It gives Jesse a chance to pass the plate at local churches to ask the poor folks attending to “dig deep” to sustain his high-roller lifestyle.  It’s just part of Jesse’s “Shakedown” operation.  Roughly a dozen people showed up for their pathetic protest in 2012.  This time it won’t be much different, except there will be a dissenting viewpoint represented.

First up, Glenn Reynolds, the guy behind the incredibly popular “Instapundit” blog has posted his USA Today column a day early where he criticizes the militarization of local police.  It’s a good read.  An excerpt:

This really neat custom “car” was parked out front to greet folks checking out the Central Illinois Shooting Sports store.

Champaign County, IL got themselves an MRAP vehicle.  We’ve asked Champaign County Sheriff to give us the reason they bought this monster.  After all, while we had some potholes in Champaign this past winter that were pretty fearsome, and would damage your average passenger car, last time I checked we didn’t have any mines or roadside bombs.

We received this letter at Guns Save Life’s PO Box and it took our breath away.

With news spreading of the “hands off” approach to policing in Ferguson, Missouri the past couple of days, more and more business owners are turning to guns to protect what’s left of their establishments.

Captain Ron Johnson of the Missouri Highway Patrol was appointed by  Missouri Democrat Governor Jay Nixon to bring a “kinder, gentler” policing to Ferguson on Thursday.
