Mom’s Demand Action (Bloomberg’s gun control group, not the porn flick) is soliciting for people to get paid to go to the Iowa State Fair and carry signs when Republican U.S. Senate candidate Joni Ernst speaks there this Friday.

Joni Ernst, you might remember, is the Tea Party darling who says she castrated pigs when she was younger and knows how to tame pork barrel spending.  Check out her ad.

And Moms Demand Action (or Satisfaction, or something) are working out of San Diego to recruit people to attend.  What’s offered?  MDA will reimburse everyone for food, parking, admission and a free t-shirt.  How’s that for grassroots activism?
