Three decades ago, owners of large ranches implemented practices that they felt might improve the quality of the deer they were seeing. Today, these efforts have come to fruition, as Texas produces thousands of whitetail bucks with huge racks each year.

I was all packed and headed toward the beach. Got my rods out and waited. it took about 15 minutes for the first bull red to hit. While scrambling for a quick catch and release, I found that I forgot my camera tripod. Not wanting to miss a photo opportunity with this big boy and with the intent to get the bull red back in the water as fast as possible, I decided the only way to do it was by taking a selfie. The effort to preserve the largest known herd of white deer in North America took a blow this week when an aerial census revealed that the herd had lost over half its numbers since 2008. For decades, the white deer herd has lived within the borders of the Seneca Army Depot in Seneca County, New York.

I caught and released this nice 8lb3oz Largmouth on the Guadalupe river on a beatiful sunday afternoon. This is my best Bass yet! I caught her on a Delta Craw Biffel Bug Texas rigged and she slammed it as soon as it hit the water! This big girl was tipping the canoe with her fight! I was fishing with Brian Evans of San Antonio TX and Randy Leal of San Antonio Tx. I caught and released 14 Bass total with two others weighing 4 and 5 pounds! Awsome day on the water with great friends!

I caught these beauty of 34 ” trout on 01/06/2016. It was on kayak which was a great life time experince. The place was lower laguna madre. Caught it on a soft plastic from k-wigglers.
