Sccy CPX-1 Review
I first became acquainted with the Sccy pistol line while working at a gun store in Southern Colorado. Our little hole in the wall shop had received one of their early production handguns, and the owner liked it enough to carry around in a small pistol holster in the shop on a daily basis. Fast […]

AK-12, All Dressed Up For The Dance
Konstantin Lazarev has some excellent photos on his Facebook page of an AK-12 undergoing testing. The rifle has been painted in earth tones, and has clearly already seen fairly heavy use, judging by all the wear. These photos also offer a look inside the receiver of the gun, which reveals a weapon that, while its designers […]

This past few days I, I was out at the TAC-CON event with several other media types, including Shawn from WeLikeShooting and Hank Strange. Beyond Your Target
Here is a good reason to know what is beyond your target. Also a good idea to choose a better backstop. A tree does not make for a good backstop if you constantly use it. It looks like they have been using that large metal plate as a target stand and it was up […]

Beretta Now Shipping the Pico
Announced at the 2013 NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits, the Beretta Pico is now shipping to dealers. These .380 ACP guns are less than 0.71″ across at the widest point. The MSRP is $399. Lone Wolf Glock Generation 4 SS Guide Rod Complete Assembly
I am a Glock fan. Have been ever since I had my first one. That said, there is a time and place for polymer. And certain components that take a lot of impact abuse are probably not the first place I would eschew the use of steel. The plastic guide rod is one component that can […]
