I got my grandfather’s shotgun when I was kindergarten.” Pitt also detailed his early history with guns, revealing that his very first gun was an […]

I recently met up with a rep for ERGO Grip (Mike Gurule) as a chance encounter and found out that they are here in New Mexico, basically spitting distance from me. Gun Review: Browning M2HB .50 Caliber
The Browning M2 Machine Gun is the the stuff legends are made of. This gun was designed in 1918 and has been in continuous service since 1933. It is used by 100 nations and few improvements to the system have been made (new versions sport a spiffy flash hider and a QD barrel), and there […]

Shooting .22 Pellets Using Nail Gun Blanks
Taofledermaus, known for some interesting YouTube videos well before Demolition Ranch made it highly entertaining, has embarked at creating a firearm out of construction equipment, a 22LR rifle, and some air rifle pellets. Using “powder activated tool” rounds, the media channel seated .22 pellets in the chamber to create some seriously high-velocity shots. It is […]

Prosecution of Procurement of Untraceable Suppressors Gets Wierder
The Washington Post has been following an unusual Government procurement during the investigation and now prosecution phases. In short, a little-known program office attempted to procure suppressors from a mechanic, at quite a premium, but the Government seems intent to cover it and related purchases up. The mysterious workings of a Pentagon office that […]

Beretta ARX Carbine with T Worx Intelligent Rail For Army AUSA Expo
I have been watching the intelligent rail for some time now. Having the ability for all your accessories to run off of a single source and also use communication tools such as live video is also a major perk. There is a lot of positive that can come out of the system, and it’s implementation […]

Hog Hunting With Tannerite
I will be honest, I am not a hunter. So if you are please speak up. I have spoken to a few hunters due to my day job and the few I have spoken to give the impression that they strive for a clean kill. Does this look like a clean kill? In this video, […]

Swedish Marines Recruitment Ad
This is hilarious. The Swedish military is making fun of US recruitment ads. They point out common characteristics seen in US military commercials. Juxtaposed to a stereotypical military commercial is the reality. Oh and their strange futuristic weapon appears to be a HK G36.

POTD: A PPSh-41 with Oak leaves and Angels
Kyle sent us this photo of a PPSh-41 with an interesting carved stock. He took this photo at the Latvian War Museum in Riga, Latvia. The stock is carved with what looks to be angels, oak leaves and an eagle. There are words scratched into it. If any Latvians recognize the words and can translate them, let us know […]

HK 91 KeyMod Hand Guard
Wojtek Weaponry has a working prototype of a KeyMod hand guard for the HK 91 rifle. The company shows photos of the rail installed on a rifle here and here. SS197 (5.7 x 28mm) Put to the Test from a FiveSeveN
ShootingTheBull410 (one my absolute favorite YouTube channels) has tested the SS197 5.7 x 28mm projective in his characteristic ballistics gel test. Tested out of the FiveSeveN, the SS197 comes in between the 22LR and 9mm in terms of ballistic energy. Combined with a ballistics tip and extreme velocity, one would expect the terminal results to […]

DSA’s FAL Manufacturing Video
A little more than a year ago, DSA posted this manufacturing video to their YouTube page. While it’s more geared towards marketing and doesn’t cover the topic as thoroughly as I’d like, viewers can still see a few items of interest, such as before-and-after photos of the forgings and castings that end up as finished […]

Donations Now Accepted To Repeal The Machinegun Ban!
Fully automatic firearms have never been illegal in the United States on a federal level. As a matter of fact, there are over 180,000 legally owned machine guns in the country but the registry was closed in 1986 (no new machine guns can be owned by non-dealers, we simply keep trading the ones already out there). However, the internet is abuzz right now over the recent approval of a man building a machne gun on a form 1 by the BATFE.
