The city council in Cleveland, Ohio, passed an ordinance effectively allowing the city to create a registry of gun offenders living within the city limits. Gun offenders would essentially be required to register the same way sex offenders do. Read the full story.

Breaking: Cleveland closer to creating gun registry

The Cleveland City Council’s Finance Committee on Monday approved an ordinance which would allow the city to create a gun registry similar to those used to track sex offenders. Those firearms offenders living within the Ohio city’s limits would be required to register their place of residence and other personal information.
