MPA30SST MAC Mini pistol overview (VIDEO)

Thu, 09/18/2014 - 14:00

MasterPiece Arms has been making these MAC-style pistols and carbines for a while and they’re not taken too seriously, primarily because they’re similar to other guns on the market made by less skilled manufacturers.

The MPA30SST is a fun gun, but it’s also a pretty serious gun, with a lot going for it. Especially for the price because these pistols can be found for around $500, give or take, and the straightforward, proven design is hard to stop.

It’s simple, and by some standards even crude, but MasterPiece builds them right, and that’s what’s important.

Colion Noir weighs in on Ray Rice and Shaneen Allen in N.J. (VIDEO)

Thu, 09/18/2014 - 11:49

Ray Rice gets treated like a non-violent offender for beating his fiancee while Shaneen Allen gets treated like a violent criminal for making an honest mistake.

Once again, Noir delivers a message so on-point there’s no real reason to try and elaborate.

If you want to help, there’s the Shaneen Allen Defense Fund. It’s been pushed well over the top but there’s no such thing as too much of a legal fund. This woman is fighting for her kids and her future gun rights. It’s worth it, even just a couple of bucks.

Cyclist records attempted robbery on GoPro (VIDEO)

Thu, 09/18/2014 - 09:23

In a documentary project called the “Global Degree” this crew is attempting to visit 195 countries in 60 months and to capture their experiences on video.

As it so happens to be one of those experiences is armed robbery. Apparently this is a pretty bad part of Argentina to begin with, and cycling around with a GoPro on your head kinda stands out.

That being said, it’s easy to knock the guy for running instead of fighting back or something — the robber is pretty timid and quick to pocket that revolver — but using the language barrier as a sort of smokescreen then booking it, well he did do something, and when you’re unarmed in Buenos Aires that has to count at least a little.

Glock v. Dr. Wacko’s Mad Lab Silly Sludge (VIDEO)

Wed, 09/17/2014 - 20:30

Mattv2099 is back with the Glock that can’t be killed and a few canisters of Dr. Wacko’s Mad Lab Silly Sludge to see what’s tougher: Austrian perfection or greenish, blackish goo. It’s either surprising or not surprising, depending on your opinion of Glocks.

What’s nice about this video is that he goes into why he picked Glock out of the many likely just as capable pistols on the market.

His argument boils down neatly:

  • Cheap
  • Long-ass Glockazines

So Glock fanboys and Glock haters, well, I guess nobody gets to be happy.

(Quiet you, Beretta fanboys.)
