Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher, who was once believed to be a plumber and later turned political commentator, shared his thoughts in an open letter on the rampage that left six people dead and more than 10 injured near the University of California-Santa Barbara campus last week.

Well, they tried. To those who served and died defending this great country, we can never repay you. But for all who serve a hot breakfast once or twice in their life, ‘preciate it.

The names of all six people killed during the rampage near the University of California-Santa Barbara campus last week have all been released.

Three of the victims are believed to be the killer’s roommates. They are Cheng Yuan Hong, 20, George Chen, 19, and Weihan Wang, 20.

The others killed during the shooting spree are Katherine Breann Cooper, 22, Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez, 20, and Veronika Elizabeth Weiss, 29.
