Recently, I have seen a number of people posting approved e-Form applications (Form 1′s), which had me greatly concerned given the translucent nature of the newly utilized electronic stamp. After receiving these approved eForm apps by email, some of the applicants have called the NFA Branch and been told that they will not be receiving a hardcopy and that the electronic copy is their approved tax stamp. BREAKING: Dianne Feinstein’s D.C. House Catches Fire
The Daily Caller is reporting that Dianne Feinstein’s D.C. home caught fire late Monday afternoon, closing down the street for part of the day as the fire department worked to contain the flames. The fire was extinguished without any injuries, but it was unclear whether there was much damage to the $6.3 million 1930s-era Washington D.C. home. There was no comment from Feinstein’s staff about the incident, but needless to say there’s a pool running right now over whether she blames the fire on gun rights supporters or opponents of her pro-NSA wiretapping policies. Because we all know that personal responsibility isn’t exactly in her wheelhouse.
Murdered TSA Agent to Receive Full Honors

A police officer or firefighter usually receives a funeral with full honors (generally a formal motorcade and speeches by multiple politicians) when they are killed in the line of duty. Following the first ever death of a TSA agent, Gerardo Hernandez, who was killed during the LAX shooting, he is set to have a funeral where he will receive full honors. A number of politicians are scheduled to attend including US AG Eric Holder. It is likely that enhanced gun control will also be on the agenda. Concerned about the propensity of the federal government to continually honor itself and whatever it does, I let my supervisor know that I was not happy that the TSA agent was being treated like a police officer . . .

I share our Founding Fathers’ belief that all men are “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” But I do not believe that liberty is held in equal regard by all men. Or that the United States of America can or should use force to remove the yoke of tyranny from the world’s populations. But I know that our military men and women protect us from our foreign enemies, and that they are a force for good in the world. One way or another, U.S. troops freed my father from slavery. MA Lawmaker Wants Home Inspections for Gun Owners
In Massachusetts, things aren’t looking very rosy for civil liberties. Already suffering under a “high capacity” magazine ban and other draconian firearms restrictions, some lawmakers don’t feel they haven’t gone far enough toward preventing another Newtown. Cop to WI Open Carrier: “I Think What You’re Doing is Detrimental to the Constitution of the United States”
I’m all in favor of open carry. Like Ralph, I don’t think that “being a good little gun rights advocate” and keeping your firearms hidden from view makes it any more likely that the enemies of firearms freedom are going to stay their collective, metaphorical hand. Open carry creates “gun normalization” that protects our rights. Besides, if something is legal to do then it’s legal for you to do it. Ipso facto. Boston Globe Anti-Gun Editorial Forgets the “T” Word
What is it with gun control advocates? Do they not understand the entire point of the United States Constitution? Hello? It’s a document whose sole purpose is to limit the power of the federal government—so that the government doesn’t become a tyranny. Tyranny. As in a system that disarms citizens (duh) so that it can deprive them of their natural, civil and human rights. Like . . . Nazi Germany.
