New EDC. The Springfield XD-M Elite Compact OSP
The new Springfield XD-M Elite Compact OSP is a mouthful to say but a joy to shoot. I've got to be honest, before Springfield sent me this pistol to review, I had little to no experience with their handgun offerings aside from their 1911's. After unboxing this handgun I was incredibly excited to see how it compares to the pistols I'm more accustomed to.

Cameleon Concealed Carry Bags – Blending Function, Firearms, and Fashion
Summer is upon us, and soon (if not already) ladies will be trading their jeans, leggings and, flannel for summer dresses, sandals and, flowy skirts. These softer, cooler fabrics are typically not well suited to carrying a firearm, which is one of the reasons that a concealed carry purse is a great option for many ladies in summer.

A Way To “Color Case Harden” At Home
Some time ago, I wrote an article about completing a black powder revolver kit from Dixie Gun Works. Upon completion, the frame still needed to be refinished as it was just bare steel. I mentioned that I hadn’t yet decided on what finish to use on the frame, but wanted something that at least looked like color case hardening, as this is the finish the original Colts had

The Professional Assassination of Marielle Franco: Truly Bad Cops
I have some friends that found themselves on the Mexican border during Spring Break several years ago with some spending money and a little time. They were young, bulletproof, and immortal, so they figured they’d wander over and spend the day exploring Juarez on foot.

One Week After Chipman Flaunted His Antigun Bias, Where Do the Senators Stand?
That would mean Chipman’s nomination would require 50 votes, plus one. Given the Senate is split evenly, this would mean Vice President Harris would be the tie-breaking vote. Obviously, if given the chance, she would vote to confirm.
