Tue, 05/20/2014 - 08:01

Lions may be known for their strength, but the large cats are also very agile for their size. The lions quickly hurled themselves at their prey, prompting one to leap off the ridge. Instead of finding safety below, the unfortunate blesbok was intercepted mid-air by one of the hunters and overwhelmed. http://youtu.be/XcEFTGb_ZR0 Blesboks are not known to be good jumpers. Shoot Foam in the Summer to Get More Venison in the Fall

Mon, 05/19/2014 - 14:23

As I spied the elk, I figured he was pushing 35 yards away. Upon releasing my arrow, however, I quickly realized that he was much further than that. The carbon shaft struck noticeably low, barely catching the top portion of his leg. What would have ended up as a long, yet fruitless, tracking job only ended up as a bit of disappointment and a lot of laughs as the elk in question was not made of flesh and bone, but rather foam. Bigger animals such as elk look closer than they actually are when you are used to shooting at deer and turkey-sized animals. This unfortunate shot occurred at a...

Mon, 05/19/2014 - 13:57
