NSSF to Hold Retailer Education Seminar June 24 in Bloomington, Ill.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, has a NSSF Retailer Education Seminar scheduled at the Parke Regency Hotel & Conference Center, 1413 Leslie Drive in Bloomington, Illinois on June 24.

NSSF encourages all firearms retailers in the region to register to attend this five-hour seminar designed to help FFL holders stay in compliance and protect their livelihood.

Of the many trips I took to the school forest in grade school, the one I recall nearly 50 years later occurred the morning after a light, overnight snowfall. It didn't take crazy weather to produce surprises during eliminations at the Easton Foundations Gator Cup - just emerging archery talent and a few key upsets that could shake up the national rankings. Florida’s Triple Crown Billfish Tournament Gets Underway May 15

The inaugural "Florida West Coast Triple Crown Billfish Series" will be held this spring / summer 2014. The series will kick off on May 15th -18th with the Sam Crosthwait Memorial Tournament. The Crosthwait has agreed to expand their divisions to include a new open billfish division. The tournament will be based out of the Bradenton Yacht Club in Palmetto Florida. NWTF Project Receives Financial Boost from Nebraska Environmental Trust

The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) was recently awarded $78,837 from the Nebraska Environmental Trust (NET) for Forest Stand Restoration on Pine Ridge Wildlife Management Areas project.
