NY Gov’s Signing of Law Designed So NY Can Track Gun and Ammo Purchases
Governors in 17 different states have taken decisive action to protect the Constitutional rights of their citizens from flawed and troublesome gun control schemes aimed at tracking the spending habits of law-abiding Americans through a shady firearm-specific Merchant Category Code (MCC) at guns stores. The concept is a ruse hatched up a few years ago and has now become popular among some of the most strident gun control activists around.
Not surprisingly, California Gov.
Illinois Lawmakers Continue To Push Restrictive Anti-Gun Laws
If you thought anti-gun Illinois lawmakers had already passed just about every restrictive gun law they could think of, well, you thought wrong.
According to a report at sj-r.com, Illinois legislators are now pushing two different schemes. Senate Bill 3971 and House Bill 5891 would prohibit the possession of a firearm outside its owner’s “immediate possession or control” and increases the age to 18 from 13 where “safe storage” in homes are required.
Sacramento Gun Owners May Be Required To Pay Harm Reduction Fee
A set of proposals moved forward during a Tuesday, October 15 City Council committee meeting that may cause law-abiding registered gun owners in Sacramento to pay a “harm reduction fee” and face additional restrictions. The measure is said to have surfaced after a recent spike in shootings, with supporters parading out their foolishness by claiming the fees and restrictions would somehow reduce gun violence.
Council clowns Lisa Kaplan and Mayor Darrell Steinberg announced the proposals a week prior, which include banning minors from entering gun stores and prohibiting the sale of firearms at home-based businesses.
The 2A Community Can’t Afford To Make Excuses For Cat Killing
If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know that on occasion it won’t use the box. If you’re careless about cleaning it or don’t have a sufficient number of boxes, cats will often find someplace else to do their business. But, what you’d never consider doing after finding a misplaced poop is torture and kill the animal. Sadly, that’s true for all of us but Douglas Hamlin, the new head of the National Rifle Association.

Gun Registry Lessons From New Zealand
A recent spate of gun confiscation in New Zealand shows just how dangerous a gun registry can be when combined with some gun owners opposing the views of those in charge of the government. Harris’ Actions on Guns Speak Louder Than Her Campaign Rhetoric
In a lame attempt to run away from her radical anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment record, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has spent the last several weeks claiming that she is a gun owner. This, of course, is irrelevant to her extreme record of attacking gun rights.
In fact, Harris isn’t even the first anti-gun politician from San Francisco to own a gun. The late Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) spent much of her career working to diminish Second Amendment rights and, like Harris, advocating for gun confiscation.
Walgreens Employee With Concealed Carry License Fatally Shoots Suspected Thief
A man and woman caught shoplifting at a Walgreens barely had a whiff of victory as they exited the store before being approached by employees. Fine, you got pinched, give it back and go home, or make a run for it as I’m almost positive the DA won’t charge you anyway, right? Not a chance. This one ends with shots fired and one less violent criminal on the streets.
The shooting was reported at around 2:10 am outside Walgreens on Torrence Ave., in Calumet City, Illinois.
Taurus Pocket .22 Returns as the New 22TUC
Taurus has made a couple of pocket .22s over the years. The first PT-22s had some obvious Beretta 21A lineage with their tip-up barrel design. They did differ though in that the Taurus pistols were double action only and had a longer grip frame. They used an aluminum frame and also came in .25 ACP as the PT-25. The aluminum frame models were discontinued somewhere around 2017 and replaced with a polymer-frame version, the PT-22 Poly.

Massachusetts Petition Drive Gaining Momentum
Bay State gun owners battling Massachusetts’ restrictive new package of gun-control laws have hit a milestone in their efforts to roll back the punitive infringements.

Toby Leary, one of the petition’s organizers and co-founder of a gun shop and shooting range in Hyannis, Massachusetts, told the Associated Press that the law is “an effort to suppress a right that is enshrined in our Bill of Rights” and never should have been passed.

Gun-Ban Groups Spend Big and Sell Lies To Defeat Pro-Gun Candidates
Gun owners and gun-rights advocates who don’t think America’s gun-ban organizations are serious about putting anti-gun politicians in office at every level of government should consider what one group is doing in just one state.
So-called Everytown for Gun Safety, bankrolled by gun-ban billionaire Michael Bloomberg, recently announced a $1.6 million paid media campaign in Arizona in an effort to turn the 2024 elections into a win for the antis. The campaign will consist of new digital ads and direct mailers encouraging citizens to vote for anti-gun candidates.
SCOTUS Sends Pennsylvania Young Adult Carry Back To 3rd Circuit
Back in January, a three-judge panel of the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Pennsylvania’s ban on 18- to 20-year-olds carrying firearms during a declared emergency to be unconstitutional under the standards prescribed by the 2022 Supreme Court ruling in Bruen.
At the time, U.S. Circuit Court Judge Kent A. Jordan, wrote for the court: “We understand that a reasonable debate can be had over allowing young adults to be armed, but the issue before us is a narrow one.
