Last year, the U.S. Senate held a roll-call vote on a bill to ban *all* semi-auto firearms, and prohibit the transfer of existing guns once they were registered.  Furthermore, upon the death of the owner, the guns would be confiscated by police.

Dick Durbin not only voted for the bill, he was a co-sponsor.

Think about that when you go to the polls in November to cast you vote between Durbin and Oberweis.

Oh, this is good.  This is a terrific article breaking down the left’s allegations that a women need not take steps, including availing themselves to self-defense, to stop the so-called rape culture.

Directed by Clint Eastwood, the new movie “American Sniper” looks to be one that gun owners can appreciate, and maybe – just maybe – it’s devoid of the usual Hollywood anti-gun, anti-America bias so prevalent in today’s sewage coming out of America’s movie companies.

You owe it to yourself to check out the trailer.  If the final product is 1/10th as good as the trailer, this will be a great movie and will do well.
