LETTER TO THE EDITOR: More gun laws not the answer

Once again, according to the political left, gun control is the answer. Violent, angry people will calm down and hug their teddy bears if we just instituted more gun control. If we get just the right gun law, criminals will stop using firearms to rob others or settle gang scores. What is this magical law […]

New Springfield XDE: Stupid in all the wrong places.

So news of the new  Springfield XDE broke today. Now, I will preface this by saying that I have not shot the Springfield  XDE yet, I have not even held this pistol, but here are my thoughts… Why in the world would they make the new Springfield XDE with an exposed external hammer? Bad, bad […]

Pro Tip: You better put the Velcro back on your pistol brace.

I’m not a lawyer, but my reading of this is that you can not modify the brace in anyway, shape, or form. Removing the Velcro would constitute a modification. You probably also should not put a saddle on it.Basically dont do anything to it to change the OEM configuration. Again… Not a lawyer.

“Weapons of war” are now no longer protected by the constitution…

As pointed out by The Gun Feed, a very good illustration of how out of touch with basic law our courts have now become. According to the 4th Circuit ruling, we are now no longer allowed to own these most basic of firearms… ‘Put simply, we have no power to extend Second Amendment protection to […]
