Anti-gun laws and personalities are always in the news, but here are three breaking legal moves that have this cop, citizen and gun owner scratching his head at the shear stupidity.
...Bavarian Battle Scissors by the crazy slingshot guy (VIDEO)
Inspired by a pair of household sheers that were just too small to decapitate random zombies in one snip, Joerg Sprave crafted a pair of four foot long Battle Scissors.
Clad in his best “pray for peace/prepare for war” graphic T complete with a hard-as-nails looking Messiah and AK47s, our favorite nutty Bavarian up-sized the scissor concept complete with hooked blades made from 6mm sharpened sheet steel.
Then he proceeds to attack Ivan the Zombie Head, a stray whole chicken (relax, it was already dead) and other assorted items.
Oh, Joerg.

Ethos and gun rights
In my article on framing the debate of gun rights, I raised Aristotle’s advice for making an effective argument—namely the three elements of logos, pathos, and ethos. To review, logos is the logic offered by the debater, the reasoning and evidence used to support conclusions. Pathos involves the emotional connections we make with our audience. In our subject, we might, for example, offer stories of good citizens who use a firearm to defend themselves against a violent attack, otherwise known as defensive gun use or DGUs. I left the last element, ethos, for another discussion, and we’ll deal with that in this article.
