The Purple Heart Foundation: Working for our wounded veterans (VIDEO)
In this video, produced by the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, purple heart recipients as well as members of the foundation talk about what it means to get a Purple Heart.
“It’s a recognition of the fact that they sacrificed without thought for their own safety,” Andy Komonchak, Executive Director for the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, Inc., says of those who receive the medal.
The Purple Heart Foundation provides support, in the form of emotional, medical, financial and other assistance, for those veterans when they return home to face new challenges.

Although he is only 5-years-old, he can mirror Lee’s moves on the big screen with precision and accuracy, and a video recently posted on YouTube proves it. The video has received nearly 4 million views in the three days it has been posted. And the little guy’s Facebook page is maxed out on friends with more than 19,500 additional followers.
