Why you shouldn’t use smokeless powder in your black powder guns (VIDEO)
With many states on the cusp of primitive weapon season, and new shooters getting into smoke poles, IV8888 shows why you want to keep your black powder straight.

Tactical Illuminati: Colion Noir on the Sig Legion series (VIDEO)
Colion Noir goes 360 degrees on one of Sig Sauer’s new P229R Legion series and he really seems to dig it.
As part of the new line of very nicely equipped guns, Sig offers to sign up new legionaries with serial-matched challenge coins and cases as well as tap them into legion-only product lines.
Besides the fellowship in what Noir terms the “Tactical Illuminati,” each one of the guns in the line comes standard with reduced and contoured beavertail grips that are undercut, an adjustable trigger and a set of electro-optics X-RAY high-viz day/night sights.
Of course MSRP is about $1,400 but hey, nobody said the Illuminati was cheap.

...Amy Schumer and the role of satire
Amy Schumer, comedian and actor, hosted Saturday Night Live last weekend. Ordinarily, this fact would have elicited a yawn from me, since given the choice between SNL and watching a cat regurgitate a hairball, I’d ask to watch something by Monty Python. Actually, I’ll take the Pythons over much of the bumbling idiocy that Hollywood regards as comedy these days. Schumer has taken it upon herself to stand for gun control after a shooting incident at a showing of the film, Trainwreck, in which she starred, and she used her appearance Saturday as an opportunity to advocate.
