Armed Man Fatally Shoots Aggressive Suspect On Metro Bus

KENT, WASHINGTON — Investigators are currently looking into a deadly shooting incident that occurred on a Metro bus in Kent.

The incident was reported around 1:00 p.m., involving a shooting on a bus belonging to King County Metro as it traveled through Kent. Following the incident, the bus stopped near the intersection of Central Ave S and E Gowe St. A man, aged 29, exited the bus and collapsed with a gunshot wound.

Dog Shot After Attacking Father And His Child

SARASOTA, FLORIDA — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident where a dog was shot after attacking a father and son on their property on Dodge Ave. The dog was loose and attacked, which prompted the father to shoot it in self-defense.

No charges will be pressed against the father, while the dog’s owner received a $66 citation.

The injured dog was taken to an emergency vet and is expected to survive but requires surgery.

Man Arrested After Pointing Gun At Woman’s Head

ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA — A 29-year-old Rochester man, Quantrell Penya, was detained after allegedly threatening a woman with a handgun around 2 p.m. Monday on 22nd Avenue NW. Eyewitnesses at the scene confirmed the incident to the Rochester Police Department.

Police say Penya pointed the gun at the woman’s head.

The nearby area was temporarily closed off as police sought Penya, who was later apprehended near the Kwik Trip on 12th Street SE by 3:15 p.m.
