SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — A suspected burglar was shot and killed after he allegedly kicked down the door of a resident’s apartment one morning last month, according to KSAT.

KSAT shared this report:

According to an SAPD spokesperson, an apartment resident said a man kicked down the door in an attempt to burglarize it. Since the door was bolted, police said, that man had to use immense force to kick down the door.

In the video shared below, you will find a man riding a snowmobile who is charged by a moose. He’s eventually forced to defend himself with his sidearm, which just happens to be a Glock.

Glock nerds, rejoice.

In all seriousness, this guy was put into a pretty precarious situation. Before he eventually takes the moose’s life, he goes through a whole playbook to get the thing to leave of its own accord.

Shooting In Salt Lake City May Have Been Act Of Self-Defense

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — A shooting that occurred last month in Salt Lake City is now being examined as an act of self-defense.

The original incident occurred on December 27th, at just before 2:50 p.m., according to ABC4.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Main Street. Police responded to the location after multiple calls, finding a man armed with a handgun and another person shot.

Man Dies In Truck After Dog Steps On Rifle, Setting It Off

WELLINGTON, KANSAS — A man is dead because of an accidental discharge involving a dog, according to reports.

According to KSNT, an unnamed man was shot while riding in the passenger’s seat of a pickup truck when a dog in the back stepped on a rifle, somehow getting either itself or something else in the back of the truck into the trigger guard.

First responders attempted to save the man’s life, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

College Basketball Coach Accused Of Murder, Claims Self-Defense

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA — A college basketball coach has been charged with the murder of a 29-year-old man who was shot and killed Dec. 29.

The woman accused, Kashonna Jenae Strong, has claimed that the shooting was in self-defense.

According to Huntsville police, shots were heard at around 5:20 p.m. the day of the shooting. Police arrived and, after an initial investigation, arrested Strong for the death of Antonio Robinson, 29, Pop Culture reported.

One Dead, One In Custody In Attempted Home Invasion In Alabama

WINSON COUNTY, ALABAMA — A suspect is dead and another is in custody after an attempted home invasion in Winson County, Alabama.

The incident occurred December 13th at a residence on County Road 21 in Poplar Springs, according to WBRC.

The two suspects entered the home at the location, according to law enforcement. One of the suspects allegedly struck a resident with a handgun and then opened fire. A resident then shot and killed the suspect.

HOUSTON, TEXAS — A burglary suspect was shot and killed by a homeowner in Houston.

The incident occurred Monday, December 12th at around 3:45 a.m., according to Alaska News Source. Houston Police responded to a shooting call and found an unconscious woman in a ditch. The woman and a male accomplice had been burglarizing vehicles in the area, according to witnesses.

A homeowner shot the woman and the male suspect fled the area.

Woman Tells Burglar to Rob Home, Gets Charged With His Murder

St. LOUIS, MISSOURI — A St. Louis man shot and killed a burglar last month, and prosecutors have declined to charge him with a crime, as it was a self-defense shooting.

They had no problem, however, charging the woman who helped organize that burglary with her comrade’s death.

According to KTVI, officers arrived at the St. Louis home to find burglar Katrell McCurry neither conscious or breathing, having been shot multiple times.

72-Year-Old Man Thwarts Home Invasion With Gun

BEDFORD COUNTY, PA — A suspect was shot and killed by a homeowner during a home invasion attempt, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The incident occurred Saturday, December 10th at around 3 a.m., on Shoups Branch Road in Liberty Township, accordig to WTAJ. State Police received a 911 call by the homeowner, an unnamed 72-year-old male, of an attempted assault and home invasion.

At one point, the call was disconnected. Upon re-connection of the call, police learned of a shooting at the location.

Grayson County Resident Fatally Shoots Home Invasion Suspect

GRAYSON COUNTY, VIRGINIA — A suspect in an attempted home invasion is dead after he was fatally shot by the home owner.

A Facebook post on the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office page gave details of the incident that occurred Tuesday, December 6th. The break-in and shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Mount Zion road in Elk Creek. The suspect, identified as 41 year old Samuel Craig Cheeks, allegedly broke in though a bedroom window.

CHICAGO RIDGE, ILLINOIS — Police say a person with a concealed carry permit shot two people outside a restaurant at Chicago Ridge Mall. The incident happened Thursday evening.

Around 8:20pm, a couple was getting into their vehicle in the parking lot when they were approached by three men. The man getting into the car, a concealed carry permit holder, fired multiple rounds at the three men.

Two of the three men were struck by gunfire.

Home Invasion Suspect Stopped By Multiple Armed Neighbors

ST. CHARLES, MICHIGAN — A St. Charles man is in custody after he was confronted by armed citizens after he attempted a home invasion, according to police.

The incident took place Friday, November 25th at around 7:33 am. The suspect, identified as a 32-year-old man, was reported to be causing a disturbance, jumping on top of a vehicle at one point. The suspect then forced his way into a residence occupied by a 41-year-old woman and her 13 and 9-year-old children.
