6 Ways Good Guys Screw Up in Self-Defense Situations
You have the right to use deadly force when faced with an imminent, credible threat of death or grievous bodily harm. This applies even in anti-gun, anti-self-defense jurisdictions with Soros-funded prosecutors (i.e. Houston, Los Angles, Chicago, Dallas, New York, St. Louis, Austin, Philadelphia, Albuqurque, San Antonio….).
Sadly, armed self-defenders often make dumb mistakes in the heat of the moment that get them in trouble. Obviously a prudent person will know and understand the laws in their own state.

OMG! Midterm Voters Don’t Give a Damn About Gun Control! OMG!
The anti-gun pearl-clutchers are in a tizzy. Voter polling is showing that radical gun control isn’t a leading concern as America is closing in on election day Nov. 8.
Voters are keyed on runaway inflation, the increasing cost of living and rising crime as the most pressing issues that will inform their votes. Voters are more concerned about what the Biden administration is doing to their pocketbooks today than what it wants to do to gun rights tomorrow.

Burglar’s Butcher Knife No Match For Resident’s Handgun in Harristown, PA
Some folks simply lack the intellect of the average potted plant. These extra low-information types, despite all of life’s lessons, remain slow to realize the folly of bringing a knife to a gun fight. This time, Keon Washington, aged old-enough-to-know-better, escaped with his life after kicking in the back door of a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania home.
The homeowner said the 32-year-old hoodlum broke down the door in the late afternoon last Friday. Washington must have thought he would have the home all to himself.
Hardy: The Gun Industry Is Selling .22 Shotguns and Fear to Kindergarteners and Minorities…Or Something
If you’re in the market for a .22 shotgun for your kindergartner, Crickett has you covered. Trademarked by Keystone Sporting Arms as “My First Rifle”, the company markets the weapon for “true winners” in a sickly-sweet pink among a range of color swatches. A testimonial praises the weapon as “just the right size” for a five-year-old, without mentioning that, in 2013, a Kentucky boy of the very same age used the weapon to accidentally shoot and kill his two-year-old sister.
OFFICER DOWN: Video Shows Decatur, IL Cop Shot Multiple Times Before Decisively Engaging Would-Be Killer
Dramatic bodycam and dashcam footage shows a vicious shoot-out between sexual predator Jamontey O. Neal and Decatur, Illinios police officers. Neal shoots two police officers, one repeatedly as he tries to avoid being arrested.
The Soy City cops did the only polite thing they could when confronted by a perp with murderous intent: they shot back at him. A lot.
That includes the most seriously-wounded officer who was down in the street less than ten feet from the offender, suffering hits to the face, an arm and a leg.
Massachusetts Gun Club Sues Army Base for Violating Federal Law, Constitutional Rights
By Lee Williams
A small civilian rifle club located just 50 miles northwest of Boston is suing nearby Fort Devens for violating federal law granting them access to military rifle ranges at reasonable rates, as well as violating their members’ constitutional rights to due process and equal protection under the law.
Ultimately, the gun club says the Biden-Harris administration is responsible.
A little-known section of U.S. code requires the Army to make rifle and pistol ranges available for civilian use as long as it doesn’t interfere with military training.
Anderson Mfg. Announces Their First Handgun, the Kiger 9c Compact 9mm
From Anderson Manufacturing . . .
Anderson Manufacturing, the leading producer of AR-15 lower receivers, has put decades of experience in precision firearms manufacturing into their first handgun, the new, 100% American-made Anderson Kiger 9c. Inspired by the wild mustangs of southeast Oregon, the Kiger is an independent, bold and powerful take on a compact, 15+1 capacity, 9mm semi-auto pistol.
Built on an original polymer frame, with over-molded front and rear slide rails, the Anderson KIGER-9c is a striker-fired handgun with strong lines from its serrated stainless steel, DLC-coated slide and barrel to its aggressive grip texturing and extended beavertail.
Obscure Object of Desire: Rohm RG10 Rimfire Revolver
The anti-gun crowd loves to make up terms to justify their chronic hoplophobia. While that bunch frequently falls in the low IQ quartile, they’re pretty good at branding.
They created terms like “assault weapons” and “ghost guns” in their attempts to disarm the masses. Before assault weapons, the term of choice was Saturday Night Special, and guns like the Rohm RG10 personified the Saturday Night Special.
Admittedly the gun-grabbers don’t appear to have created the term.

Use Amazon Smile to Support Gun Rights
Something like three quarters of U.S. households have an Amazon Prime membership. If you’re going to shop at Amazon — as you probably already are! — please do it via Amazon Smile by starting your shopping at smile.amazon.com. Once you select your non-profit charity of choice, Amazon donates a portion (usually 0.5 percent) of every single order you place, with no change whatsoever to what you pay for whatever you’re purchasing (I’d suggest some Egguins), to your designated charity.

Brady Campaign Operatives Register as a Foreign Agent to Help Mexico Sue US Gun Manufacturers
The NRA-ILA has been keeping readers up to date with an ongoing effort by the Mexican government and domestic gun control supporters to attack the American firearms industry. According to a new report from Politico, this conspiracy to leverage a foreign sovereign to undermine an American constitutional right has become more formalized in recent days with the creation of a new advocacy group named Global Action on Gun Violence.
Back in August 2021, the Mexican government filed a lawsuit in the U.S.
BREAKING: Three Dead as Armed Resource Officers Stop a Killer In a St. Louis High School
St. Louis is not Uvalde, Texas. That’s the lesson learned this morning by a 20-year-old lunatic who forced entry to the city’s Central Visual and Performing Arts High School while armed with a long gun. Once inside, he shot a number of people, killing two.
Initial reports suggest there were seven school resource officers in the school and some helped students and staff get to safety while others ran to the sound of the gunfire.
Meet the 375 Raptor: a Heavy-Hitting, Short Action Cartridge
Arne Brennan, creator of 6.5 Grendel and other cartridges, designed 375 Raptor in a quest to do for 308 Winchester what 300 Blackout did for .223 Remington. Namely, neck it up to run larger, heavier bullets that deliver both supersonic and subsonic performance in a cartridge that’s efficient from a short barrel, suppresses well, and runs reliably in all the same platforms as its parent cartridge does.
By necking up and trimming 308 Winchester brass, the parent case is made ready to accept a .375 caliber projectile.

Meet The Latest Dark Money-Funded Anti-Gun Agitprop Operation: Project Unloaded
Every year or two, some dark money group or billionaire (but I repeat myself) tries to spin up a new anti-gun operation. That’s because the existing ones have a devilishly hard time convincing thinking people to surrender their God-given constitutional rights. Of course, these AstroTurf orgs typically faceplant after a few months or maybe a year or two when the money finally runs out.
Remember inspiring “grass roots” efforts like the Veterans Coalition for Common Sense?
New York City Joins Chicago As Cities Descend Into Ruin
Chicago gets a lot of digital ink — all of it well earned — for its lack of civility and brotherly love under Democrat leadership for the last ninety-plus years. Now, under the hard-left gun rights-hating “leadership” of Bill de Blasio and now Eric Adams, New York City is falling into ruin. But at least NYC residents don’t have to worry about a good guy carrying a gun on the subways.
In the last couple of days, Chicago had the case of a security guard who worked high profile events steal a man’s Pepsi while riding on a CTA train, then shoot the man dead when he objected to being robbed.

Central Illinois Father-Son Camp Makes Memories For Hundreds of Boys and Young Men
Any day you can help make memories for young people new to shooting ranks as a great day for them and for you. Once more I had the chance to volunteer to help some young men shoot rifles Friday afternoon at the Father-Son Camp in Oakwood, Illinois. Both the weather and the fellowship proved exceptional as we made memories that the kids will keep with them for years to come.
It wasn’t my first rodeo at the camp.
Gun Control and Decarceration: Two Failed Experiments That Cost Innocent Lives, This Time Two in a Dallas Hospital
America has been experimenting with gun control in one form or another for well over 150 years. The laws were originally put in place to disarm blacks and other disfavored minorities. We’ve since progressed through the National Firearms Act of 1934, the Gun Control Act of 1968, the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986, the Clinton assault weapons ban of 1994 along with myriad state and local laws regulating magazine capacity, firearm storage, the features of rifles, yadda, yadda, yadda.
