VIDEO: Philly’s Mayor Becomes Gun Salesman of the Week After (Another) Lawless Weekend
Leave it to the UK’s Daily Mail to report what the American mainstream media won’t. This weekend in Philadelphia, a lawless mob literally drove donuts around a police squad car and the cops did nothing. What’s more, the same video shows a huge number of the mob hopping on the squad car and taunting the police inside.
Once more, police made no arrests.

Of Course: NRA Board of Directors Votes Overwhelmingly to Re-Elect Wayne LaPierre
As you may have seen, the National Rifle Association’s Board of Directors voted overwhelmingly yesterday to retain embattled CEO Wayne LaPierre in the association’s top spot. Reportedly only 49 of the directors attended the meeting and 44 of them voted to retain LaPierre despite all of the scandals and investigations surrounding the long-time NRA leader.

The National Rifle Association has announced a change for the date and location of the 2022 annual meetings and convention. The nation’s oldest civil rights organization has moved the event from Louisville to Houston, Texas over the Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29.
The NRA has faced plenty of justifiable criticism over its decision-making lately, but this move was both wise and prudent. Kentucky’s Governor, Democrat Martin Beshear, has earned his reputation for radical COVID mitigation mandates, including restrictions on events and gatherings along with lockdowns.

VIDEO: Dramatic California Police Shootout Leaves Officer Critically Wounded
In August, police in Modesto, California conducted a search of a home follow a high-speed pursuit. During that search, an occupant ambushed officers, leaving one critically wounded. Bodycam footage from the incident has been released, showing a very dramatic gun battle between police and felon named Jesse James.
Incredibly, despite dozens of rounds fired, the suspect escaped with only minor injuries. The wounded officer, however, has lost part of his right leg.
It all started with a high speed chase in Modesto.
FBI Crime Stats Show Criminals Turned Millions of Law-Abiding Citizens Into New Gun Owners
The FBI released the Uniform Crime Report which showed an abrupt rise in crime. It was hardly startling to those reading or watching the news. The report showed a 29 percent jump in murders in 2020. It is reportedly the largest increase since nationwide records began in the 1960s. That’s got gun control proponents banging the same drum: more guns mean more crime.
That’s just not true.
Gun Meme of the Day: Simply Put Edition
It’s all about equity, really. Even though gun control takes away the one tool that truly provides self-defense equity to women (and to the elderly, disabled, and otherwise small-of-stature/physicality, etc.). Or equality. Whatever…who even knows anymore. Let’s call it the democratization of violence.
