To be honest, I am a fan of politicians who shut the filter down and are totally honest.  At least until their handlers get a hold of them and they inevitably backtrack on whatever controversial belief they had recently pontificated on.

It seems that Michael Bloomberg should have focused more on the illegal politicians he has supported over the years rather than the “illegal” guns he purports to be against.  Following a long line of criminals who have been allies of Michael Bloomberg, the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Kathleen Kane, may soon find her name along these other “distinguished” politicians who are ardent supporters of Michael Bloomberg and vice versa.

Any rational minded person understands that the reason you have a firearm registry is in order to make it easier to confiscate those weapons later.  I mean, a registry doesn’t stop crime, it doesn’t help solve crimes either unless someone actually LEAVES the gun behind, and it doesn’t make anyone safer.

On the eve of the election for Speaker of the House one can only hope that the GOP has the fortitude to shake off the conditioning that the establishment seems to have saddled them with and do the right thing.

As police and government authorities are ramping up  their privacy invading abilities by using drones to conduct warrantless searches in clear violation of the 4th Amendment, or to just flat out SPY on people for no better reason to do so than they can, the spectre of Orwell’s “1984” looms ever larger.

Funny thing about the Speaker of the House job that I find many Americans are unaware of.  You don’t actually have to be a member of Congress in order to be elected as Speaker of the House.  So he or she can basically be anyone…who will then be behind the Vice President in line of succession tot he Presidency.

The inevitable erosion of the 2nd Amendment continues undaunted in the Empire State fiefdom of Andrew Cuomo.  The following story is a chilling reminder that the state will go to great lengths in order to strip you of your rights to keep and bear arms and will do so unabashedly by invading your privacy and violating doctor/patient confidentiality.

Welcome to the year 2015.  Along with the big party  and the personal resolutions there is yet another tradition that comes with the dawn of a new year.  January is often the time when laws from the previous year are enacted.  This year is no different.

As we look back on the year that was, 2nd Amendment supporters can see some good, some bad and some ugly.  The good being the movements expanding carry laws, the pick up of constitutional carry states, the defeat of Federal legislation to limit our rights.

During this Christmas and New Year’s season the gift of charity swells in the hearts of many.  And who better to benefit from that charity than those who have literally given life and limb for the freedom and liberty we possess today than the veterans who stood tall when their nation called on them.

In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a new state law going into effect on Jan. 5th, Act 192, dictates that any local municipality that has illegal firearm ordinances on the books will be financially responsible to those citizens who have their civil rights violated because of them.

So as we near the end of the year it is no surprise that liberal gun grabbing zealots have said and done a lot of idiotic things to try and defend their losing arguments against the 2nd Amendment and those who believe in the right to keep and bear arms.

Hey faithful readers.  Just wanted to take a moment to assure you that Bullets First hasn’t gone anywhere.  Just with the Christmas season in full swing and some inclement weather making my internet connection spotty I have been unable to write any new articles.

As such, until the 26th of December I will be on holiday.

Before I go, allow me to wish you the very Merriest of Christmas’s and let us remember that the season is more than just gift giving and commercialization.

In yet another example of hysterical political correctness knee jerk reactions, a student at a Kansas elementary school was suspended for six months because he happened to pick up a piece of spent brass that his mom had expended the day before.

The 2nd Amendment was highlighted in the Bill of Rights to ensure that citizens have the right to defend themselves.  For some reason over the years that has gotten watered down to defending themselves against petty criminals but it extends passed that to be first and foremost a defense against a tyrannical government and those who would exploit their position at the cost of a innocent persons liberty.

When voters are suckered into voting for a candidate backed by billionaire gun hater Michael Bloomberg, they really shouldn’t be surprised when she makes it her priority to undermine the 2nd Amendment and follows lockstep with marching orders coming from the Bloomberg command center.

I’m a little surprised to discover this story comes from Montana but apparently gun control radicalism can sprout from any soil.

Logic, what should be a salve for gun controllers terrified irrationality is one of the hardest things to get to sink into their radically un-American heads.

My regular readers my see the title to this article and think I’ve lost it.  Let me assure you it isn’t so.  And if you are a gun control zealot thinking I am going support your ideology…well…have fun with that.
