The United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs has announced that on Dec. 24th 2014 the UN Arms Trade Treaty will begin it’s enforcement.  To refresh your memory on what the UN Arms Trade Treaty actually does:

In a story that no doubt has the mouth breathers of the gun control zealot crowd fuming, a restaurant owner has bucked the pressure from gun control groups to ban firearms from his establishment and in fact has offered discounts to those who come in packing heat.

No doubt Chris Christie, head of the Republican Governor’s Association, will attempt to take credit for the upset wins by Republican Gubernatorial Candidates in Maryland, Illinois and Massachusetts.  Yet the bullying loudmouth, Soprano wannabee from New Jersey is just a two faced opportunist looking out for his own self interest and should not be trusted or praised by Republicans.

In what appears to eventually be a 9 seat pick up in the Senate, Republicans have ousted Harry Reid from the Senate Leadership position and regained control of the upper house of Congress.  As a gun owner, my question is: “What are they going to do now?”

In the state that hasn’t met a gun control measure it didn’t like, a bill (A3764) was introduced into the New Jersey Assembly that would add to the all ready onerous time and costs just to BUY a gun.  The bill would make it mandatory that those applying to buy a handgun would first require training or “experience.”

In another shocking display of jurist malfeasance, Virginia Circuit Judge Stephen Fucci has ruled that police can pry open your hands and force you to unlock your cell phone that has a fingerprint security feature.

In honor of the Halloween season, I bring you a story touches on the macabre.  In Greensburg, PA, a place a little to the east of Pittsburgh, the county coroner is auctioning off 97 guns used in suicides and accidental shooting deaths.

In a case of liberal gun grabbing judicial activism run amok, Superior Court Judge Donald Stephens ignored state law when he banned concealed carry at the North Carolina State Fair.  Stephens ruling came in a challenge against Agricultural Commissioner Steve Troxler summarily banning concealed carry at the state fair…a power he actually doesn’t have.

NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is conducting the Political Correct Train all the way to Crazytown.  The AG has begun pressuring colleges around the state to stop asking if applicants have ever been arrested or convicted of a felony.

Homeowners Associations may have started out with the best of intentions but have morphed into a ego driven, group think run, oligarchy of nosy nimwits who seem to, more often than not, hate America.

Lead is a toxin and dangerous to humans.  It’s one of the reasons we don’t have lead paint anymore.

As anyone with a real understanding about the 2nd Amendment knows, it has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with the defense of liberty against freedom.  The defense of our lives against danger.  The defense of our land against aggression.

With elections across the nation happening next Tuesday, many voters may still be on the fence about who to vote for.  With all the campaigning and outside money flooding into states around the nation it is hard to get an accurate reading on where candidates line up on the notion of gun right versus gun control.

In America we have this understanding that we are innocent until PROVEN guilty.  Unfortunately, a law concerning the Internal Revenue Service has flipped that notion on its head and it is a reversal of fortune that believers of 2nd Amendment should take notice of.

I think it it finally coming together, the reasoning WHY New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is so enamored by gun control that he broke procedure, hijacked the legislative process and jammed the SAFE Act down the throats of New Yorkers in the dead of night; he’s a criminal.

Because frankly, guns saves lives while gun control costs them.

Truth be told, the Colbert Show is funny and the Daily Show has its moments but then Jon Stewart will take a hard left and jump the rails from being a fair game comic to a liberal idealogue.  Suffice it to say that I had long wished that there were a fun show covering news topics that didn’t hate my viewpoints and values…you know…America.

One of the biggest lies that Gun Controllers here in America like to spout off is that in countries where gun control is strict they have no mass shootings or crime of any sort.  The truth, as we are reminded this week in Canada, is much different.

Instead of putting his faith in imaginary magic force-fields generated by “gun free zone” signs, a school principal in Ohio is utilizing the opportunity provided him to do something that would actually make a difference in protecting his students.

It is not surprising that, even after a federal judge ruled against the District of Columbia’s carry ban, DC has gone to great lengths to deny the right to keep and bear arms from as many law abiding citizens as possible.  The city council and mayor have modeled their draconian carry requirements after places like New York City where policy seems to be made that makes it all but impossible for “regular people” to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.
