Video: Heroic Dog Rescues Drowning Fawn as Owner Cheers on from Shore
A relaxing weekend walk on the beach turned into a rescue situation in a hurry when a man and his two dogs discovered something struggling in the water. Below is the original video taken by Mark Freely the moment his dog jumped into action:
Fox 13 News says Mark Freeley was walking along a Long Island beach when his dog, Storm, suddenly burst into action. Freeley couldn’t tell at first what it was his dog was rescuing, but as Storm swam in closer, Freeley saw it was a baby deer in his dog’s mouth.
You can watch the dog’s heroics in the video below, but apparently after officials arrived on scene, the fawn jumped back into the Harbor and had to be rescued again. This time, Storm stood by and watched.
Here is the video:
Video: All the Beams on This Whitetail Rack Will Make You Drool
Seriously though, how many beams can you count on this freak?!
This video, posted to Facebook by Whitetail Freaks TV, will feed your buck fever and give you a warm fuzzy feeling all over, similar to the velvet covering this crazy awesome rack!
Don’t look now, but we’re only a couple months out from deer season, and if you’re starting to get that itch, here’s a short clip of a buck that you will likely see in your dreams from now until the season opener.
You might want to put your coffee down first, this buck will make you shake!
If we saw this buck on our trail camera, we would be calling him “Skyscraper.” Can you think of another cool name for this high-racked buck?
Video: Mountain Lion Crash Lands on Top of Woman in Her Sleep
A California woman was woken up early on the morning of July 4, and she quickly realized she was still caught in a nightmare: A mountain lion had crashed through her apartment window and landed directly on top of her while she was still asleep.
That ought to get your day going in a hurry!
According to KTXL, the woman was too shaken up to speak with media, but the apartment manager Francis Muniz said, “At first, I think she said she thought she was dreaming. It didn’t seem real.”
Fortunately, the woman wasn’t injured, as a high-pressure situation like that could have easily upset the animal and that could have been really bad for the woman. In the video, you’ll see she simply opens her apartment door and the bleeding, battered and disoriented mountain lion stormed out.

Video: To Some It’s Just a Stinky Gut Pile, But for a Hungry Bobcat It’s Pure Bliss
Take a second and think of your happy place. Now, for most of you, it’s probably up in a treestand somewhere, or hovering over your favorite honey-hole on your bass boat, but for a hungry bobcat, well, its happy place is a little more smelly.
This was the scene Charles Felchak discovered when he walked up to one of his gut piles on his Felchak River Ranch. A bobcat was elbow deep in a carcass, having an all-you-can-eat feast for one.
Bobcat in my gut pile at Felchak River Ranch

Did you see how happy that cat is on the pile? The bobcast is so content in its jackpot find, that it doesn’t even bother to look up at Felchak in between bites.
No Statewide Antler Point Restrictions a Good or Bad Thing for Michigan Deer Hunting?
After a hard fought fight with Michigan’s Natural Resource Commission, hunters in favor of adding antler point restrictions (APRs) throughout the state of Michigan were denied following a meeting in Lansing on Thursday, MLive reports.
It was a chance for hunters in favor of APRs to voice their reasoning one last time in hopes of swaying a decision in their favor, and they delivered their message with passion.
“There were some really good points made, but not every area in the state will grow three (antler points) on a side,” Michigan DNR director Keith Creagh said, referencing the requested minimum points.
When facing a decision like this, Creagh said, “It’s not as straight-forward as either side says. It really is about a quality deer hunting experience and how you do that in a landscape.”
So, it sounds like the decision was made in the best interest of Michigan hunters; where do you stand on this ruling?
Video: Tim Wells Spears Charging Raccoon While Night Hunting Rabbits
You might already know by now, that Tim Wells is especially prolific with a spear in his hand. This video puts his skills on full display, and he has an intense showdown with an attacking raccoon.
Just as Tim Wells says so in the video, this proves you can survive off anything in the wild, “get yourself a sharp stick and a flashlight, that’s all you need,” Wells says after he successfully harvests a rabbit with his spear.
At the 2:30 mark, Wells spots a raccoon in the distance and lets out a call. You can see the raccoon running across a field directly at Wells, who’s positioned on his knees with the spear ready to throw. Raccoons can be very aggressive, and have a reputation for having a nasty anger problem.
Just as the little varmint gets withing lunging distance, Wells unleashes his spear and stops it right in it’s tracks.
Check it all out in the video below:

Video: This Bull Elk has Only One Thing on His Mind, and It’s Not the Hunter Standing Right Next to Him
Here’s a close encounter that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up. Think you’ve had a case of buck fever before? Wait until you see this. . .
Any hunter knows, there’s something about being in the woods during the rut that gives it a special feeling. It’s the feeling like you could see some action at any moment and your nerves are on edge the entire time.
Deer are on the move and are very motivated to find a mate during this time. At any moment, the biggest deer (or elk) of your life could walk right within shooting distance.
This video shows what we’re talking about, but this hunter might have stepped into the wrong neck of the woods. See, this bull elk has one thing on his mind, and judging by how his tongue is flicking in and out at that cow, it’s definitely not the guy standing only a few feet from him.
See if you can guess what he’s after in the video below:
Video: Bacon Wrapped Suppressors, Need We Say More?
Cooking bacon on a hot suppressor. . . how much more American can you get?
In this video, Gunner Christian Wade demonstrates just how hot suppressors get by wrapping one in bacon and frying it up with just a few pulls of a trigger.
Find out if it works in the video below:
Well, there you have it: you actually can cook bacon on a hot suppressor. While we would never recommend this, if you ever feel like you just have to let the American out, or just have a craving for a BLT, here’s an off the wall solution.
In all seriousness, this video is actually a good demonstration of how hot and how fast suppressors can heat up. Always wear gloves and be safe out on the range!
Texas Man Shatters State Record with 1,033-Pound Hammerhead Shark
A Texas fisherman shattered a state record after reeling in a gigantic hammerhead shark while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
KHOU reports, Tim McClellen is the angler that now sits at the top of the Texas state record books due to his 1,033 lb. hammerhead shark he caught over the weekend. Tim was fishing in the 55th Annual Tackle Time Fishing Tournament, which he also won thanks to this massive catch.
“You can fish all your life and not catch something like this,” McClellen told KHOU-TV. “It’s the one monster I’d been looking for for 20 years.”
McClellen’s 1,033 lb. shark broke the previous state record set back in 1980, when Mark Johnson landed an 871 lb. hammerhead.
Florida Woman Finds ‘World’s Fattest Rattlesnake’ Crossing the Road
A woman in Florida shared a photo taken on the side of a road that’s making people’s skin crawl – the world’s fattest rattlesnake?
Cathy Terry, a Florida woman who says she and some friends spotted the “monster” eastern diamondback rattlesnake crossing the road in front of them while they were out birding near Bartow, UPI reports.
Here is the Facebook post, where Terry calls it an “incredibly hugely fat Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake.” She even goes on to say she estimates the snake was close to 7 ft long! We have no way of knowing whether or not her claim is true, but check it out in the photo below:
Video: Have You Ever Seen a Machine Gun Burst Last so Long That You Were Bored Before the End?
Can a machine gun be boring, and if yes then is that a good thing?
In this video we get to watch a 1000 round belt of mixed PMC and Prvi 9mm ammo fired through a Freedom Ordinance FM-9 belt fed upper on full auto. The 1000 round burst lasts about 1:30 and it all worked so perfectly I was a little bored by the end of the video.
I guess that’s a testament to their reliability
Video: Suppressor Meltdown; 700 Rounds Through an M249 SAW
Enjoy this awesome 700-round meltdown on this Monday, and thank us later.
In this video, the guys at West Coast Armory got a hold of a Silencerco SWR suppressor and decided to run a little experiment with it. They decided they would run 700 rounds in one continuous burst through a full-auto M249 SAW and this is what followed:
Is it getting hot in here?
As you witnessed, the suppressor ended up breaking around the 350-400 round mark, and the gas tube was right behind it. If you watch closely, you can see flames starting to come out.
Video: 1,000 Rounds in Less Than 13 Minutes with a Sig Sauer P320
The Sig Sauer P320, or a version of it anyway, won the XM17 trials to become our nation’s primary pistol. The Sig P320 is loved by many shooters, and it seems to be one of the most successful models Sig has released in recent years.
Well, with all that being said, of course our friends over at the Military Arms Channel had to take one for a ride, and we get to see just how much this handgun can take.
Let’s see how this one goes: 1,000 rounds in less than 13 minutes.
Video: The Struggle is Real for This Guy Trying to Help a Stranded Turtle
There are some folks who have absolutely no fear of wild animals and then there are some like this guy . . .
When a turtle finds itself in a tricky situation, a police officer was sent in to handle the job. Except this guy is apparently terrified of turtles, and his struggle is particularly hilarious.
Kung fu on a turtle? Everyone knows turtles are masters at karate, perhaps this guy should try something else, like coaxing the turtle with a large pepperoni pizza.
Video: Why Bass Guru Glenn Walker Calls on the Witch Doctor
Not sure what rod spine is, and why it’s important to building a top-notch fishing rod? Not sure what rod length is best for various bass fishing applications?
No worries . . . bass guru Glenn Walker (above) covers these topics — and more — in the clip below. And who knows, maybe after listening to Walker’s tips, you might be calling on Witch Doctor Tackle, too.
Video: Woman Attempts 83-Foot Bellyflop; Goes Very Wrong
PSA: Please use good judgement went jumping off things.
We’re all for having a good time on the water, but there’s always that one person who takes things too far and ends up getting themselves hurt.
In this clip, a woman bellyflops from an 83-foot cliff and had to be airlifted by helicopter to a hospital. Her name and condition remain unknown, but it’s reasonable to think she may have suffered a collapsed lung or some other intestinal damage.

Video: Size Doesn’t Matter to This Muskie With a Mouthful of Pike
Here is proof that you really can’t toss a lure too big for muskie.
This video showing a muskie with a decent-size pike in its mouth should tell you all you need to know about muskies, and give you some insight as to why this fish is sometimes referred to as the “water wolf.”
Still second guessing that large lure? Nah, we didn’t think so.
But if you can’t seem to get those finicky muskies to bite, try using some of these tips next time you go out fishing. Muskies can be picky eaters sometimes, but when they decide they’re going to eat something, well, you know what happens.
Video: Bear Erupts from Bushes then Charges Car in Alaska
Slow down and look at that bear, they said. It definitely won’t charge at your car, they said . . .
This video was taken in Yakutat, Alaska, when two people driving down the road noticed a bear not far ahead of their vehicle. This is very common occurrence for folks living in Alaska, so they didn’t think much about it, other than they wanted a better look at the bear.
Typically, bears are afraid of humans – let alone a car driving toward them – and catching a close glimpse is tricky, but when they slowed down where the bear ran into the woods, the bear suddenly erupted from the bushes and then charged at their car.
Cody Kunau, the guy in the video, said after the incident, “Even though I was in a car, it was one of the scariest moments of my life!”
Kunau said he and his friend, Samantha, turned around to inspect what could possibly have agitated the bear and they found no cubs, no kill, or any evidence that would make this bear behave the way it did. All they got was another charge from the bear, and Kunau got out of the area immediately.
Video: This Badger Does Care, and It Doesn’t Like Being Harassed by Morons
We’ve seen these guys in action before, and we’re still left wondering what in the h*** they’re trying to accomplish. But as you know, there’s a bright spotlight for stupidity, and these guys are standing right under it.
So let’s get to it. The video starts with these two numb-skulls chasing a badger around the desert for no apparent reason other than they’re just bored and a bunch of morons.
They chase the badger around for a good while before cornering it in a hole, and this thing is NOT happy about it.
Watch and see what happens next in the video below:
