...Going hot with the CZ Bren 805 PS1 pistol (VIDEO)
The Military Arms Channel runs deep with the new 5.56mm Bren 805 PS1 pistol from CZ USA.
The 805 rifle is the very FN SCAR-like weapon with an aluminum upper and polymer lower that was created in 2009 to replace the vaunted Sa vz. 58 in the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. However, good luck getting that gun here in the states right now.
What you can get is the semi-auto 805 PS1, which MAC went all in on.
Watch the video and Czech it out (did you see what we just did there? Czech it out…because its Czech…Check…get it?)

Joerg Sprave coughs up the axe catapult (VIDEO)
Because tomahawks and slingshots weren’t cool enough by themselves, Joerg Sprave upped his improvised weapon game to beast mode and makes an axe catapult.
Sure, he wears Birkenstocks with all the Euros he saves on hair care products, but Herr Sprave knows his way around a slingshot. So why not take that knowledge of primitive weapons and come up with something that can catapult random tomahawk-ish bits of sharpened steel over long distances. Because you never know when that can come in handy in defending your castle walls.
Bonus for the zombie shirt, by the way.
And as usual, don’t try this at home, kids.

...Two Americas, Part II: Prepared or unprepared?
In my previous discussion of Timothy Egan’s New York times article, “Guns and the Two Americas”, I addressed many of the claims of fact that he made and the assumptions he holds regarding the south and American gun owners. This time, I’ll look at Egan’s assertions about gun-free zones and the ability of good citizens to stop a mass shooter.
