Maryland bank burglar, ringleader steals more than $800,000
A bank robber pleaded guilty on Wednesday to charges including conspiracy to commit bank burglary and arson on property used in interstate commerce and faces five and a half years in prison, officials said.

Jazzy, drunken clown arrested after shooting gun in the middle of the street
A 54-year-old man was arrested in Grand Traverse County, Michigan, Monday morning after a concerned citizen called the police to report the man’s unusual behavior.
The man, who was arrested for violating a person protection order, was reportedly wearing camo and a clown mask, and plinking with a can in the middle of the street. He was also said to be playing the trombone at some point.
The gun turned out to be a pellet gun and the suspect turned out to be a drunk clown.

Massive $360 million combat ship dropped into water during launch (VIDEO)
The USS Detroit, with a price tag of about $360 million, was christened and launched on Saturday. The littoral combat ship was literally dropped into the water.
It is the sixth ship to be named after the city in Michigan, is almost 400 feet long and boasts two Rolls-Royce MT30 36 MW gas turbines, two Colt-Pielstick diesel engines and four Rolls-Royce water jets.
The USS Detroit has a speed of 45 knots, or about 52 miles per hour, an endurance of approximately 21 days and can carry a crew of around 125.
She is expected to be deployed some time next year.

Old man enters the ring with young boxer; Match ends in under a minute (VIDEO)
It didn’t take long for this old dude to teach the young whipper snapper that just because he’s twice (maybe even three) times his age, with a considerably smaller build, doesn’t mean he can’t hold his own in the ring.
The sparring match ended in less than 40 seconds, with someone on the sidelines saying, “Whoa,” and the young buck holding up his hand, essentially saying “no more.”
