A Las Vegas home burned to the ground after a cache of ammunition caught fire Saturday night.

Firefighters were forced to standby as the rounds continued to detonate inside the house. Once the ammunition had burned, firefighters got to work extinguishing the fire, local media reports.

While it’s still unclear how the fire started, what is known is that the ammunition was stored in the homeowner’s garage.

No one was home during the fire.

A Brazilian man accidentally shot his friend while showing off his suppressed machine gun.

Rodrigo de Moura Oliveira, 36, was on the beach of Ensenada when he had just finished affixing his suppressor. A moment later, Oliveira negligently discharged the firearm and the round fatally struck Marco Antonio Nemer, 40.

Police said Oliveira has connections with the criminal organization First Command Capital and are unsure if the shooting was accidental or not. He was arrested following the shooting.
