One of the victims of a shooting Sunday in Las Vegas that left five people dead was a good guy with a gun who actually tried to stop the perpetrators from continuing their attack, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

This 3-year-old is having a blast with a portal gun. Dreamworks animator Daniel Hashimoto loves making cool videos with his son. He films his kid playing with everyday toys, then edits the clips with studio-grade special effects.

Hashimoto has previously created clips of his son playing with lightsabers, blasters, blasting off in a McDoanld’s Play Place, and more. This time, his son got caught in an endless portal loop.

Real Time host Bill Maher took a shot at firearm enthusiasts Friday, calling open carriers ‘ammo sexuals.’

Maher talked about the Open Carry movement and their recent openly armed outings to establishments like Target, Chipotle, Home Depot, Chiles, and Sonic.

“You guys aren’t just firearm enthusiasts,” Maher said. “You’re ammo sexuals. And before you try and deny that you have some sort of unnatural romantic relations with your gun, consider this: you’re taking it out to dinner, because it completes you. Get a room.”

“Here’s a crazy idea,” Maher added, “trying going out without your gun.”
