Official ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ reveal trailer (VIDEO)
“Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” is filled with high-tech combat suits, fast-paced first-person action… and Kevin Spacey.
Call of Duty is expanding their franchise yet again and their newest installment looks like it’s set to impress. Aside from the stunning graphics and awesome mech-looking combat suits, it also has Kevin Spacey. He was recruited to narrate his digitized self, and hopefully they’ll throw a “House of Cards” reference in their at some point too.
The new title is scheduled to hit shelves Nov. 4.

Falcon 9 Reusable rocket blasts off, lands itself too (VIDEO)
The Falcon 9 Reusable rocket just took its second test flight in Texas and reached a height of 1,000 meters before safely landing itself back on the ground.
While this was only the second test flight for the Flacon 9, the maximum height achieved was four times that of last time.
This iteration of the Falcon 9 has fixed legs, but engineers plan to build future models with retractable legs.
Once the site is moved to New Mexico, the Falcon 9 will be permitted to fly to even higher altitudes.

Hickok45 on the basics of…archery? (VIDEO)
I don’t think it should be all that surprising that a guy who could ring steel at a plate 300 yards away with flintlock is into archery, but after all these years of watching him and his glorious range I’d never caught on that he was into bows and arrows.
That being said, for all the trouble it takes to lay hands on a brick of .22, it makes good sense for shooters to get into archery just to save money and still get in some range time. It really is getting popular with kids, so why not learn a new skill? Plus as a sport it leads straight to shooting.
And it doubles over as a solid zombie apocalypse skill, like reloading, or horseback riding. It’s got to be cheaper than shooting once you get properly set up, to boot.
Great, just like that, we’re all pricing out bows and backyard targets. Thanks for everything, Hickok45.

Vice investigates private military corporations, the new Call of Duty (VIDEO)
Vice has launched an investigation into the world of private military corporations, or PMCs, to examine the new Call of Duty.
PMCs have a nearly endless cash flow and therefore have access to high-tech weaponry and highly trained operatives with previous military experience. But since these operatives essentially work for the highest bidder, Vice asks, “What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world’s next superpower?”
Stay tuned to Vice for the full investigation into PMCs.

How an AK magazine is made (VIDEO)
Who doesn’t love long videos of industrial manufacturing footage set to crunchy electronica? I have to admit, there’s more hand craftsmanship that goes into a good AK mag than I would have assumed. Especially with machines that would have no problem snicking off a finger in a heartbeat.
There’s no doubt that the AK is not a particularly refined or advanced rifle. In a lot of ways it was a step back, even for World War II and early Cold War standards. But that’s not what matters about the rifle and its derivatives.
ARs are designed and assembled. In a lot of ways, AKs are crafted.
This is by the Matra Group. They have this and one other video, “Chairs!” They just got their start, don’t hold it against them.

Man smuggles shotgun out of gun store by stuffing it down his pants (VIDEO)
CCTV cameras caught one Michigan man stealing a shotgun from a local gun store by stuffing it down his pants.
The unidentified man walked into Johnson’s Sporting Goods in Adrian Township and selected a 12-gauge shotgun off the shelf. After waling up and down the isle for a moment, the suspect slipped the long gun down his pants and hobbled out the front door, ABC reports.
The suspect was aided by two men who were later caught on unrelated charges.
