How do suppressors affect ammo velocity? (VIDEO)
Top Shot Dustin Ellerman tests a whole rack of suppressed rifles and pistols to see if the cans have any appreciable effect on velocity.
Dustin sends five rounds each of .22LR, 9mm, 5.56mm, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, .308 and .338 both with and without a suppressor through the crony and then does the math for comparison to whisper up some interesting (if underwhelming) results.
Just if you are curious, the cans used in the test include a Griffin Armament Checkmate and Revolution, a SilencerCo Saker, and a Gemtech Trek and Sandstorm.

Go green with your lights to show support for veterans (VIDEO)
The idea is simple: Change one of your lights from soft white to green to show you support our country’s veterans and appreciate what they do. The light can be any light, as long as it is visible from outside your home or office. Then snap a picture of your green light and share it to social media with the hashtag #greenlightavet. So far, over 1.5 million people have vowed their support.

Lets see how strong the Magpul Gen 3 AK PMAGS are (VIDEO)
Robski and the AK Operator’s Local Union crew hit the back yard PT field to see how Magpul’s third-generation AK PMAGs hold up.
In your typical backyard workout for the AKOU gang, they run through some pull ups, push ups and drop tests with the polymer banana to see if it can pack the gear enough to be worth using in a Kalash.
Of course the people in Rob’s condo complex are likely all WTF if they look out their back window into his yard, but hey, this is practice for the AK game and it shall not be infringed.

...240th Birthday of the Marine Corps (VIDEO)
On Nov. 10, 1775, a committee from the Continental Congress met at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia and drafted the guidelines for the first two battalions of Marines.
At that meeting, Samuel Nicholas was named Commandant of new force and Tun’s owner, Robert Mullan, became its first recruiter. Now with over 188,800 Marines in 25 infantry battalions, the Corps endures and spans all domains, exemplified by the Eagle Globe and Anchor insignia and its motto Semper Fidelis, Always Faithful.

Shotgun shells crammed with finishing nails (VIDEO)
The Taofledermaus crew took 14 six-penny finishing nails and set them in wax inside a 12 gauge shotgun shell, then broke out the celery.
The one ounce load of nails replicated flechette anti-personnel ammunition originally invented for use by the military. In the end, it wasn’t that impressive– except for the clay test.
They nailed that one.
Get it?
