On Monday, the 14th of September 2015, a professor of geography and social sciences at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi shot a fellow professor, Ethan Schmidt, to death in Schmidt’s office.  The suspect, Shannon Lamb, is also sought in the death of his domestic partner, Amy Prentiss, several hours earlier.  At the time of this writing, Lamb is still at large, though he has declared his intention not to go to jail, according to the police.

A 24-year-old man spent some mighty morphin’ time in jail after he apparently threatened a man at a Tampa public pool… while wearing a Red Power Ranger costume.

Officers responded to a 911 and while they found the suspect, Justin Duarte, getting ready to make a getaway in his car, they did not elaborate on why the man may have been dressed as a Power Ranger. Authorities did, however, confirm that the two guns with which was making threats were only very realistic-looking fakes.

Duarte was arrested and charges with aggravated assault.

Gav with the Slo-Mo guys went to Taser HQ in Arizona to watch someone get lit up with an X-26 Taser and the results look like they suck.

The guys used a V-2511 camera to get footage at 28,000 frames per second, which is slow enough to see skin jiggle as the barbs hit and the volunteer test subject goes full wookie.
