One of the favorite clichés of gun control advocates is to claim that if the Second Amendment really means what the plain English of the text says, then we must all be allowed to have nuclear weapons for personal defense.  This is intended as a reductio ad absurdum, an argument shown to be invalid by drawing it out to its necessary, but absurd conclusion.  But is the idea of privately owned nukes as silly as it sounds on first hearing?

The new commercial from Mass Ammo includes gratuitous images of what happens when 5.56mm brass goes wild.

The new Orlando, Florida-based company looks like they have their creative energy on point and access to a whole lot of empty brass, what seems to be a couple HK MP7A1s, and an M249.

And hey, maybe the bath is part of the how they clean the brass. Most people use an ultra sonic cleaner and a dryer or a tumbler, but hey Mass Ammo, you do you.

Cue gun control groups screaming “ammo-sexual” in 3, 2, 1…

A woman in Palm Beach, Florida, was apparently furious at a police officer who dared to pull her over last week and issue a citation after he caught her speeding through a school zone 31 miles over the speed limit.

As the officer starts to explain why he was handing her a ticket, she promptly cut him off before saying, “No wonder you people get shot,” then followed it up by calling the officer – or more like all officers – an asshole.

The officer, who appears to be the calmest cop ever caught on camera, chose not to even debate the woman and simply told her to have a nice day before walking back to his patrol car.

Russian-based IPSC competitor Vitaly Kryuchin runs 20,000 rounds per year in practice, and it shows in his point-shooting technique.

Using a pair of gently modded Glocks, Kryuchin seems to have a handle on point-shooting without referencing his sights to put 9mm on steel plates.

Still he is humble.

When called out by one of his fans to match up against Jerry Miculek, the Eastern European Glock jedi wrote back, “I will lose, no chance. He is the best in all type of shooting.”

There is a slight resemblance, however…
