The Truth About Guns
Far-Reaching Anti-Gun Measure Pushed Through Massachusetts State Senate
Anti-gun state senators in Massachusetts recently passed a sweeping gun-control bill that reads like a wish list for gun-ban advocates.
The measure, S 2572, was approved by the Senate on Feb. 1 and covers a lot of bases, all of them bad for lawful gun owners in the state. First, it would broaden the ban on common semi-automatic rifles that Massachusetts citizens are already under. If the new legislation were to pass, nearly any semi-auto rifle and many semi-auto shotguns would be outlawed.
Michigan School Shooter’s Mother Found Guilty in Precedent Setting Conviction
Jennifer Crumbley, the Michigan mother of a child who carried out a mass school shooting killing four students in 2021, just became the first parent in the U.S. to be held responsible for their child’s criminal actions. She was found guilty today of involuntary manslaughter. The unanimous verdict in the unprecedented case came on the second day of deliberations.
Crumbley, 45, had been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, one for each victim.
Cheap VR Rifle Stock Makes Things A Lot More Realistic
As I’ve pointed out several times before, virtual reality (VR) can be a powerful tool for training. It’s obviously no substitute for live fire, but when done right it can be a great way to do things not only cheaper, but with a lot more flexibility than the one-way shooting range. Being able to slip some $250 goggles on your head and go to a virtual shooting range in your pajamas gives you a lot more chances for practice, too.

Democrats Are Waging All Out War on Gun-Owning Citizens of Virginia
The Old Dominion, famously the site of many historic battles for America’s freedom, including pivotal campaigns during the American Revolutionary War, the Civil War and even the War of 1812 is again shaping up to be an epic battleground over the fight for gun rights. With a thinly elected Democrat majority in both the state senate and legislature this past November, the anti-gun political party was quick to drop as many as 47 gun-control bills for consideration and so far, every single Democrat has supported them along party lines.
Texas Homeowner Goes WWE on Armed Burglar, Kills Him with Defensive Choke Hold
A rifle-toting burglar stormed a Midland, Texas, home over the weekend in an effort to rob its occupants, but discovered too late it was going to take more than the sight of a firearm to scare the homeowner into giving over the goods. Police responded to a call for a “disturbance with weapons,” but by the time they got there, they found someone dead, and it wasn’t the homeowner.
Police reported that upon arrival at the scene they found 37-year-old George Samuel Butler dead.

Taylor Swift Surrounds Herself With Hired Guns While Advocating For Disarming Everyday Americans
Taylor Swift doesn’t ordinarily get involved in politics, but when it comes to gun control, she’s made an exception. She supports gun control for the little people across America. Why? Because people shouldn’t have to “fear” violent crime committed by bad guys with guns. As though laws stop the criminally inclined.
However, when it comes to her personal safety and security, Taylor Swift doesn’t walk the walk when it comes to her talk supporting gun control.
Historians Are in Demand Thanks to Bruen
While the pursuit of knowledge in any discipline is a worthy endeavor unto itself, there are certain majors plenty of parents bemoan when their kids declare them either because of limited income potential or even more limited opportunities to actually find gainful employment (especially when the cost of college is factored in). Journalism, which was my choice at a time when newspapers and magazines still ruled the media landscape, was my choice and my dad tried everything short of forbidding me to pursue it, even pointing out what low starting pay journalists made.

Sun’s Out, Guns Out: Pro-Freedom Measures On The Move In The Sunshine State
Pro-freedom lawmakers in the Florida legislature are pushing forward three measures that would recognize rights that have previously been restricted, and all three bills were recently approved by overwhelming margins in their respective Florida House subcommittees.
House Bill 17 would change when the mandatory waiting period would end for firearm purchases. The law currently states: “The mandatory waiting period is 3 days, excluding weekends and legal holidays, or expires upon the completion of the records checks required under s.
SAF Files Consolidated Appeal in Challenge of New Mexico 2A Restriction
The Second Amendment Foundation is among several groups and individuals involved in a consolidated appeal of a lower court ruling in the challenge of New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s emergency order last September which suspended Second Amendment rights in Albuquerque and surrounding Bernalillo County.
The case is being appealed to the Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. SAF’s case is known as Fort v. Grisham. SAF is joined by the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association, Firearms Policy Coalition and Bernalillo County resident Zachary Fort, for whom the case is named.
Should More People Be Carrying Discreet Anti-Terror Kits?
It seems like only yesterday that guns like the Ruger LCP were at peak popularity. People carried a pistol because they feared carjackers and muggers, and those people tend to only be a foot or two away. The “So anyways, I started blasting” approach seemed like the most likely needed response, and perhaps the only one seriously worth preparing for. A tiny pocket pistol could handle that job just fine with only minimal disruption to one’s daily life and wardrobe.

The Thompson Submachine Gun: Eleven Pounds of Pure Cool
How far will the typical American male go to look cool? Well, nowadays he will buy sports cars he can’t afford, put Lord-only-knows what kind of muscle-building supplements into his body, spend countless agonizing hours in the gym and waste money on tattoos he will invariably someday regret. His forebears who successfully fought World War 2 went one step farther. They willingly carried an 11-pound submachine gun all the way across Europe…just because they thought it made them look like James Cagney in the movie Public Enemy.

Americans Shouldn’t Be Propping Up Gun Control In Other Countries
In this article, I want to share some information and analysis from Four Boxes Diner, and then add on an important observation of my own. Sadly, Americans are not only spending money and debt we can’t afford, but we risk (and lose) American lives so that countries in Europe and Asia can continue abusing the rights of their own people.
Ukraine’s Already Planning A Crackdown On Guns
Whatever your feelings about Ukraine, one thing’s clear: the argument for strict gun control should be dead in that country.
Gun Review: Taurus GX4, Affordable and Reliable
I have to admit, my first experience with Taurus firearms was not favorable. Years ago, a friend purchased a .357 revolver and brought it over for me to look at. He was proud of the gun, and I reserved telling him exactly how I felt because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings. It was the early ’70s and at that time, I had a Colt Python and a S&W Model 19. I still consider those two guns to be the pinnacle of revolver design.

Post Office Gun Ban Unconstitutional Judge Rules, But Does That Mean You Can Carry There?
Despite permitless carry now the law in a majority of states and concealed carry with a permit allowed in most of the others, gun owners who do carry or keep a firearm in their vehicle probably didn’t realize every time they even drove into a U.S. Post Office parking lot to drop a letter into a mailbox, they were breaking federal law. And going into the actual post office, even late at night when no one else is there to grab your mail from a post office box with a gun riding in your waistband, forget about it, you were definitely breaking the law there.
It’s Not The Guns Any More Than It’s The Cars
A recent YouTube video by CBS News explores a troubling trend: increased road deaths in the United States. Interestingly, the video inadvertently kills the whole “ITS THE GUNS ITS THE GUNS ITS THE GUNS” argument behind gun control. But, just like with guns, the “experts” want to ignore the deep-seated problems that drive violence and instead try to solve the problem with raw government power flexing.
The video very clearly identifies a big part of the problem: stress and anger.

S.C. Senate Set For Constitutional Carry Vote
We recently posed the question, “Constitutional Carry: Can We Reach 30 States In 2024?” Now, South Carolina lawmakers seem poised to possibly move “permitless” carry one step closer to that mark.
House Bill 3594, which has a total of 70 House sponsors passed in a Senate floor vote this week 28-15 after being debated on the Senate floor. It now goes back before the House for a full vote before it can be signed into law by Gov.

White House Enlists Schools to Gaslight Parents about Guns
The White House wants to enlist school officials to help hoodwink parents about its gun control plans, according to a statement issued last week.
The reason is simple: They want to take advantage of the officials’ credibility, which the White House lacks, especially when it comes to guns.
Teachers and administrators, the White House said in the statement, “can be trusted, credible messengers when it comes to providing guidance on gun violence prevention and safe firearm storage options.”
So-called safe storage laws have always been a goal of the gun-control industry, but for reasons many don’t understand.

Federal Court Judges Strike Down California’s Ammo Background Check Law, NY Ban on Guns in Public Housing
When the US Supreme Court handed down the Brown v. Board of Education decision in 1954, it was met with no shortage of resistance among those who favored segregation of America’s schools and other public accommodations. It took a couple of years before judges across America realized that they couldn’t side-step the ruling despite the pleas of bigots and indeed, a few racists.
Today, seventy years later, we see a similar reluctance of quite a few federal court judges to accept their roles as inferior courts.
