Poor Moms Demand Action.

They’ve had a bad few months, getting humiliated and embarrassed at every turn.

Those desperate, demanding moms have had multiple public relations disasters with Staples, including being escorted off the company’s headquarters property when they tried to present a handful of petitions.  (That was easy!)

Those bossy moms falsely claimed that they had convinced a Staples manager in Tennessee to post their store “NO GUNS”.

Their leader (“Take MEE to your LEE-DER!) Shannon Watts was smacked in recent days in front of a legislative committee in Indiana and days before that she was humiliated for posing with a pro-gun writer who was packing heat.  She would have faced less embarrassment if she’d walked out of the restroom with a length of toilet paper hanging out of the back of her pants.

First, a certified jackwagon from South Carolina that not only posted his establishment, but included a derogatory message to that state’s gun owners:  “If you are such a loser that you feel a need to carry a gun with you when you go out, I do not want your business. Douchebag.”

As you might imagine, he’s certifiably insulted a large segment of the population and they’ve let him know what they think via a host of avenues.

It’s generated such a strong firestorm that it’s made national news:

The Illinois State Police have decertified a pair of instructors in St. Clair County, IL after an investigation initiated in January found that they were spending as little as two hours of class time teaching Illinois 16-hour concealed carry class.  The two found themselves on the ISP’s radar after students contacted the ISP and reported substandard courses.

According to KTRS, the pair, operating out of Sparky’s Armory in Mascoutah, IL fraudulently certified just shy of one hundred people who have since had their applications denied pending retraining.

Under a deal with authorities, the pair will reimburse all students 100% of their tuition costs and they have agreed to never teach Illinois CCW classes again.

It’s good to see the Illinois State Police following up on instructor complaints.  Sadly, they didn’t nab these two weeks

Dear Front Sight (Dr. Piazza):

I joined up on 07/2012 (I believe in response to an “incredible limited lifetime membership offer” or the like).  Since then, I’ve received over 660 membership enhancement solicitation emails (and a total of 926 emails, give or take any I’ve forgotten to track, as illustrated below).  I used to think the NRA renewal mail was bad!  Not so bad now that I’m a Lifetime Member.  I’m wondering if there’s any way I can ask to quit getting the membership solicitation emails, short of unsubscribing entirely from Front Sight newsletters.  How about if I promise to consider an upgrade if/when I fully retire and move from Illinois to the desert southwest – somewhere remotely close to southern Nevada when I might really GO there?

MADISON (WKOW) — Police arrested six people believed to be involved in what they’re calling one of the most brutal crimes in recent memory.

Madison police say three men planned a home invasion, but broke into the wrong home on Quincy Avenue on the north side around 6 a.m. on February 23. Police say the suspects were aware it was not the intended home, but they proceeded to violently attack the two victims who had been sleeping. The suspects are accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting the woman who was six months pregnant.

As much as I detest Google, they are VASTLY better in service than Comcast it seems.

Comcast sucks.

No, they really suck.

I’m in the process of moving and Comcast decided yesterday I no longer needed my old email addresses.  Or access to my account.

I’ve spent just shy of 100 minutes on the phone in three calls, one of which was dropped, listening to Comcast’s insipid hold music and advertisements for pay per view “events” and other trash.  I’ve talked with eight people, three of whom spoke English as a second or third language.

My favorite ESL statement:  “Is your email a Comcast email?”

Here’s your sign, pal.

Now I get to wait up to 72 hours for them to get me back up and running.

If anyone out there is just starting out with internet and cable TV, my advice is avoid Comcast like the plague.

With greater and greater frequency, our federal government, under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, has been running the nation with little regard for the rule of law.

The implementation of Obamacare is one example where Barack Obama’s officials have changed the so-called law at their whim.

The bankruptcy of Chrysler and General Motors was one such example, as was the Fast and Furious program by the ATF are two additional examples.

The latest gun-related example comes just this weekend as the ATF ignored a court order restraining them from raiding Ares Armor in California.

ATF came in and took their customer list anyway.

The second amendment speaks of an armed “militia” – translation – military.  Unless you are in the military or in law enforcement, you nor anyone else has any business with a gun.  Want to hunt?  Keep your rifles stored in a secure location within your town/city and check it out for hunting, then return it.  The only reason to have a pistol is to kill.  If you use it for target shooting, etc., you really need to get a life.

In that race, an underfunded Republican David Jolly defeated a well funded (through national Democratic sources) and well-promoted Democrat Alex Sink.

Many in the media are claiming it’s Obamacare that sunk Sink, a former candidate for Governor in Florida.

Not exactly.

Alex Sink was a moonbat on guns as well.  She earned herself an F-rating from the NRA with her support of Obama-style gun control.  David Jolly, on the other hand, supported gun rights.

Folks, Sink getting sunk is huge.  It portends a the sinking of anti-gun Democrats nationwide in this fall’s elections.
