Small Massachusetts Town Meeting Highlights Big Issue in Country
The town of Sudbury, Massachusetts recently held a vote concerning zoning laws and the firearm industry. It has become a semi-common practice in Massachusetts, among other jurisdictions, to try and zone out the Second Amendment. This trend, as well as the fingerprints left behind by proponents of the regulation change, shows the systemic issues we have with blind ignorance and hatred towards anything firearm related.
Through a citizen petition in Sudbury, a warrant was raised that was voted on at the annual town meeting, May 1-2, 2023.
Mazza: It’s All the Republicans’ Fault
“They’re lying to you,” he said. “This isn’t about mental health, which every other country has problems with. It isn’t drugs, which every other country struggles with. It isn’t computer games, which every other country has. It’s the guns. It’s obviously the guns.”
He said it’s high time to place the blame where it belongs: On Republicans.
“Let’s stop saying ‘Congress must act’ and start saying ‘the Republican Party must act,’” he said.

Comedian Tweets ‘Repeal the Second Amendment’…Doesn’t Get the Reaction he Expected
There is nothing funny about murder and banning the Second Amendment is not a laughing matter.
Comedian Michael Ian Black didn’t wait for facts after one innocent American was killed, and several others injured, by a murderer using a handgun in an Atlanta medical facility. He wasted little time in calling for the Second Amendment to be repealed – no ifs, ands or buts.
“Repeal the Second Amendment,” the comedy writer tweeted.

A large group of unsuspecting people was waiting at a bus stop in Brownsville, Texas around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, when a Land Rover suddenly blew through a red light and barreled straight into their midst at a high rate of speed. The bus stop was located outside of the Ozoman Center, which provides care for the city’s burgeoning migrant community.
Eighteen people where hit, six were killed instantly and two died later.

If I asked anyone what Mossberg is most well known for, they’d likely point to the famed 500 series pump guns. Those guns have made Mossberg a fortune and are genuinely awesome shotguns. Mossberg is still a family-run company, and if you ever go to their booth at SHOT, you have a high chance of running into someone with a name tag reading Mossberg.
Mossberg might be best known for their shotguns, but the first firearm Oscar Mossberg designed was a handgun, and the first gun produced by Mossberg was called the Brownie.

An ‘Assault Weapon’ the Gun Control Crowd Doesn’t Want to Ban
The the CCRKBA has identified an actual “assault weapon,” yet the gun grabber community has no interest in banning it. TTAG actually opined on this topic in the past as well.
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has just identified the “assault weapon” gun banners don’t want to ban, but when it comes to mayhem, this one has quite a body count to its credit, including eight people killed Sunday at a bus stop in Brownsville, Texas.
Stop Trying to Ban Assault Rifles – It Won’t Work
I am not sold either way on banning so called assault style firearms and accessories. With 20 million in our possession I don’t see what you gain other than a feel-good law. Grandfather laws in the Constitution forbid the confiscation of these previously owned firearms.
The media shares in this solution as well. Stop making these shooters famous by posting their manifestos and personal letters and thoughts.

Machine Gun Stolen From Shooting Range in Texas
Last Friday, an HK MP5 machine gun was stolen from LoneStar Handgun, a shooting range in Bexar (that’s pronounced “bear,” like the furry animal that poops in the woods and flies space ships with Han Solo in Star Wars) County, Texas. According to the KENS5 news video below, “the [shooting range] owner fears it could end up in the wrong hands.” Um, yes, I think that ship has sailed with the person who knowingly stole the gun when the range employee’s back was turned.

The gunman who killed eight people at a Texas outlet mall was identified as a person who had been staying at a nearby motel, but his motive was a mystery Sunday, a day after the attack turned an afternoon of shopping into a massacre.
Three law enforcement officials who spoke to The Associated Press named the gunman as Mauricio Garcia, 33, who was fatally shot Saturday by a police officer who happened to be near the suburban Dallas mall.

Eight Dead as Shooter Opens Fire Outside Shopping Mall in Allen, Texas

A gunman stepped out of a silver sedan and started shooting people at a Dallas-area outlet mall Saturday, killing eight and wounding seven others — three critically — before being killed by a police officer who happened to be nearby, authorities said.
Authorities did not immediately provide details about the victims at Allen Premium Outlets, a sprawling outdoor shopping center, but witnesses reported seeing children among them.

Americans Are Increasingly Saying Something That Joe Biden Doesn’t Want to Hear
President Joe Biden and his gun control advisors won’t like this news.
One of the most consistently accurate and reputable polling organizations found more Americans oppose one of the president’s top gun control goals than support it. Monmouth found nearly half of Americans – 49 percent – oppose a federal ban on so-called “assault weapons.”
The poll was released just days after the president once again called for a national ban on modern sporting rifles (MSRs).
