This joint resolution nullifies the rule issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives titled Factoring Criteria for Firearms With Attached “Stabilizing Braces” and published on January 31, 2023.

Gun Control Groups Trying to Extract Pledges from Law Students to Never Work for the Gun Industry

Wed, 05/24/2023 - 10:00

Gun control groups are big Shakespeare fans, apparently. They’re taking a page from the famed Elizabethan-era bard’s Henry VI as the next play on foisting gun control on the American public.

“The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers,” Shakespeare wrote in the play.

Two gun control groups are putting a 21st Century twist on the line and taking to university campuses to convince law students to pledge to never represent the firearm industry, or its interests, in court.

5 Ways to Protect Your Gun Rights and Those of Your Children

Tue, 05/23/2023 - 16:00

By Lee Williams

Gun owners should be running the country given our numbers, at least that’s how it appears on paper.

According to Ballotpedia data from last year, of the 31 states that allow voters to publicly indicate their political party affiliation, roughly 48 million were Democrats and 36 million were Republicans. The rest were independents, unaffiliated or members of another political party. By comparison, there are an estimated 133 million gun owners in the country, or roughly 40% of the population – a massive number that dwarfs all party affiliations combined – according to the Pew Research Center.

BREAKING: Fifth Circuit Issues Injunction on ATF Pistol Stabilizing Brace Ban

Tue, 05/23/2023 - 12:32

Minutes ago, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a preliminary injunction (download the PDF HERE) against the DOJ’s and ATF’s unconstitutional attack on firearms equipped with a pistol stabilizing brace. The lawsuit, brought by the Firearms Policy Coalition and other plaintiffs, paid off with this temporary injunction just days before ATF’s mandatory registration “grace period” that was set to expire on the 31st.

Don’t celebrate too soon, though. Unfortunately this temporary injunction applies only to the named plaintiffs .

Tue, 05/23/2023 - 12:00

By Tim Stetzer

If you’re a fan of the Fallout or Cyberpunk video games, or the sci-fi or post-apocalyptic genres in general, then you probably know that writers and game designers seem to think that the 10mm is going to be ubiquitous in the future. They’re the most common guns you run across in those mediums and they’re generally cheap.

In real life, in the here and now we know that 10mm pistols aren’t actually all that common, or all that cheap.

Is There an Electoral Silver Lining for the Anti-Gun Left in the Post-Bruen Advance of Gun Rights?

Mon, 05/22/2023 - 12:00

The anti-gun left doesn’t take defeat well and few setbacks have been as devastating to the cause of civilian disarmament in America as the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision. That judicial earthquake, combined with the long march of permitless concealed carry across the nation — eleven states have enacted it since 2021 — has them on their heels. But as an op-ed in the New Yorker makes clear, at least some in the gun control industry hope think they may see an electoral silver lining through all of the gloom.

South Africa and a Black Death Dream Hunt

Mon, 05/22/2023 - 10:00

Cornered in a small clearing, he squared his shoulders, picked up his head, and looked me right in the eye.

Judging me.

I was close enough to watch him sneer.

My rifle raised, I traced a line through the gap between his front legs, up to the center of the black mass of muscle that formed his chest.

Behind two feet of muscle…his heart and malice. Mine was filled with fear.

Hammer: It’s Inexcusable That The Nashville School Shooter’s Manifesto Still Hasn’t Been Released

Sat, 05/20/2023 - 08:00

It is inexcusable that the manifesto has not already been released. But unfortunately, it is also unsurprising. The reality is that the gender ideology lobby is an extremely powerful political force in today’s Democratic Party, and for the American ruling class more generally. Transgender activists, with the possible exception of Black Lives Matter activists, best represent the tip of the spear of today’s intersectional Democrats.

Same-sex marriage was constitutionalized by the U.S.
