FL CHL Database Breach
On Monday, Florida’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) announced a shocking discovery: more than 16,000 concealed carriers in the state had their data breached.
Hackers were able to access the state’s application and payment center, where those applying for concealed carry permits entered their private information.
“The social security numbers that may have been obtained had been entered in an online field where either a social security number or Federal Employer Identification Number could be entered. In 2009, the department began only to request a FEIN in this field and stopped the prior practice of requesting either a Social Security number or FEIN,” a statement from the FDACS said. “Only concealed weapon licensees who renewed online may have had their names accessed. The department’s Office of Inspector General determined that there is no risk of identity theft to these licensees.”

How to Shoot a Pistol? – Discover Everything You Need for Next Level Shooting
Pistols are uniquely American. Few countries in the world allow their citizens to own guns. Americans can not only own guns, they can own pistols. That is very rare on the planet and you should be taking advantage of this.
Learning to use a pistol like a carpenter uses a hammer, takes time, skill and expertise. If you’re completely new consider training. If you’ve been to the range a time or two, and you’d like to channel your inner John Wayne and sling lead from your sidearm, you’re in luck.
This is the start of your pistol education for people who’ll be carrying a pistol for protection from predators, both 2 legged and 4 legged, and people wanting to get a start in handgun hunting.

Army Secretary Nominee On Citizens Utilizing Military Arms
Tennessee state Sen. Mark Green (R), President Donald Trump’s nominee for Army secretary, strongly believes that citizens should be armed ― and not just with any ol’ guns. They should be able to possess whatever weapons the military has, because an armed citizenry is the “ultimate checks and balances” against the federal government.
“The Second Amendment, while it allows citizens to protect themselves from other citizens, goes well beyond just allowing us to defend ourselves from a criminal,” Green said at a pro-gun rally in 2013.
“The men who penned and ratified this document gave us the right to keep and bear arms as an ultimate checks and balances against the federal government,” he added. “When considering magazine size and weapon type, comments like, ‘You don’t need a 10-round magazine to hunt deer’ completely misses the point of the Second Amendment.”

Gun People vs Horror Movies
Notice: This is Mat Best, so there is some language.
Springfield Armory / Rock River Arms & Illinois
Second Amendment supporters are a pretty dedicated lot so you’d think the 1994 Smith & Wesson and Sturm Ruger sellout to the Clinton Administration would continue to be a warning to all firearm manufacturers. Both sold out law abiding gun owners by buying into Clinton’s Assault Weapon Ban and both suffered overwhelming public backlash. So one would think it would serve to put manufacturers on notice that turning their back on pro-Second Amendment John Q. Public isn’t the best option; not so for Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms.

Dustin Reviews The Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22
The Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 is a great ergonomic and fun choice for modern rimfire rifle training.
We use a variety of rimfire rifles at our Youth Marksmanship Camp program. From single shot Savage rifles (check out the Rascal!), Henry lever actions, Volquartsen Custom rifles, H&K MP5s and of course the S&W M&P 15-22s.
The M&P 15-22 is several of the campers favorite rifles. Of course the first reason probably being because it’s an AR15 style rifle and it just looks cool. But as a range instructor I appreciate it the most because of it’s ergonomics and reliability. At this past camp we had several issues with our stock Ruger 10/22s and it was frustrating for the campers, but once again, our M&P 15-22s ran great.

Firefight
From the cameraman:
“I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and I made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT when we got hit. The rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn’t start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety.”
“A round struck the tube by my hand of the 203 grenade launcher which knocked it out of my hands. When I picked the rifle back up it was still functional but the grenade launcher tube had a nice sized 7.62 cal bullet hole in it and was rendered useless.”
