What piqued your interest in getting your permit to concealed carry?
Are you freaking out about riots springing up and want to have a fighting chance to defend yourself?
Or are you traveling for work and want to protect yourself no matter where you are?
For me, I like to camp and backpack. Some of the areas I camp are prone to bears and other big things that might try to eat me.

The Case For Reciprocity
Across the great expanse of these United States, every citizen can expect to enjoy nearly every American right no matter what state he or she may be in. If you’re a New Yorker visiting Las Vegas, you’ll retain your First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and freedom of religion (you’re probably going to need the latter). If you’re an Oregonian vacationing in Florida, you’ll retain the right to a trial by jury.
If you’re traveling to Tennessee from Arizona and for some incomprehensible reason have taken a detour through South Dakota, you’ll still possess the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures by South Dakotan state trooper. Thanks to the incorporative powers of the Fourteenth Amendment, the Bill of Rights is not merely a national-level package but an inter- and intrastate one as well.
There is precisely one right from the Bill of Rights that is not guaranteed for interstate travelers: the right to keep and bear arms.

Boobytrapped AK Mags
Breach Bang Clear has the details, this was an interesting read.
Basically, it looks and feels like a full magazine. And indeed it does function like a normal magazine too–at least for a few rounds, until 35 grams of TNT blows up in your face.

Leaked Hillary Clinton Audio Regarding the NRA
To the best of my ability, this is a transcription of the audio:
I do not believe that the NRA represents most gun owners. They sure don’t represent the majority of Americans but they have so intimidated elected members of Congress and other legislative bodies that these people are casting the most of certain laws. The idea that you could have an open carry permit with an AK-47 over your shoulder walking up and down the aisles of a supermarket is just despicable. So I’m going to speak out, I’m going to do everything I can to rally against this pernicious corrupting influence of the NRA and we’re going to do whatever we can. I was proud when my husband took them out and we were able to ban assault weapons but he had to put a sunset on so 10 years later, of course, you know which would expire. To reiterate, that we got to go after this and here again the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment and I am going to make that stance every chance I get so I will need your help on that.
Crossbow Do’s & Don’ts
When I first started shooting modern crossbows, I had no idea what to expect. Like many, they confused me. I had seen them on TV, but without ever handling one, I wasn’t sure about a lot of things. How do you load one? How do you pull the string back? What’s the trigger like? Do they kick, like a rifle? Are they noisy? Are they accurate? How far away can you accurately shoot one? Do they have enough power to kill a deer?
Was I in for a surprise! Modern crossbows are fast, accurate, and plenty powerful enough to cleanly take the largest big-game animals in North America. They are also a pleasure to shoot.

Trump Outlines 2A Stance
One common criticism of billionaire businessman and presidential candidate Donald Trump is that he far too often speaks in vague generalities and rarely offers specifics about where he stands on the issues.
That is no longer the case, at least regarding his stance on gun rights and the Second Amendment, after Trump released his official policy position on his campaign website.
“The Second Amendment to our Constitution is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed upon. Period,” the position paper began.
Trump went on to explain that the right to keep and bear arms is a right that pre-exists both the government and the Constitution, noting that government didn’t create the right, nor can it take it away.
He also rightly denoted the Second Amendment as “America’s first freedom,” pointing out that it helps protect all of the other rights we hold dear.
