Uninformed & Angry
Sean Payton rails against guns after Will Smith’s death… Another uninformed individual with pseudo-celebrity status that wishes to pontificate about something which he knows nothing about.
“I hate guns,” he said.
“It was a large caliber gun. A .45,” Payton said. “It was designed back during World War I. And this thing just stops people. It will kill someone within four or five seconds after they are struck. You bleed out. After the first shot (that struck Smith’s torso), he took three more in his back.”
Payton paused, then continued with his theme.
“We could go online and get 10 of them, and have them shipped to our house tomorrow,” he said. “I don’t believe that was the intention when they allowed for the right for citizens to bear arms.”

A Sobering Reminder
Safety, safety, safety!
32-year-old David Pressley lost his leg to shrapnel after he and his friends loaded an old lawnmower with 3-pounds of Tannerite and got too close.
In the graphic video above, courtesy of WXIA Atlanta, Pressley can be seen shooting the lawnmower from a distance reported to be 43 feet away.
When the target indicator goes off, the lawnmower is flipped and shrapnel flies out, severing the man’s left leg below the knee.
According to reports, Pressely’s two friends were able to apply a tourniquet and he was rushed to a nearby hospital by helicopter, saving his life.

Leaked Audio: Supreme Court is Wrong on Second Amendment
Although Clinton did not identify which Supreme Court case she disagreed with, she appeared to be criticizing the landmark 2008 ruling in District of Columbia v. Heller, which found the handgun ban in Washington, D.C., unconstitutional.
“I was proud when my husband took [the National Rifle Association] on, and we were able to ban assault weapons, but he had to put a sunset on so 10 years later. Of course [President George W.] Bush wouldn’t agree to reinstate them,” said Clinton.
“We’ve got to go after this,” Clinton continued. “And here again, the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment. And I am going to make that case every chance I get.”

GunVault GVB1000 Security Flaw
GunVault GVB1000 from Handgun Safe Research on Vimeo.
California DOJ Approved
This handgun safe, called the Minivault Biometric, features the same release-wire locking mechanism found in the GV1000S. The main difference between the two safes is that this one has a fingerprint reader. Though it is a fancier, more expensive device, the GVB1000 is no more secure than the less expensive model; the mechanical components of the locking mechanism are accessible through holes in the side of the safe. To learn more about the engineering problems I’ve uncovered in a variety of handgun safes, see the Discussion page at http://www.handgunsaferesearch.com.

Wow, he is fast! From what I gather, this is training with Taran Butler (Taran Tactical Innovations) in preparation for the sequel to John Wick.
2A Is Not #2
At Thursday’s Republican debate, Marco Rubio suggested that the Second Amendment is second because the founders saw it as the second most important right in the Bill of Rights. “It’s the constitutional right of every American to protect themselves and their families,” Rubio said. “It is the Second Amendment for a reason.”
This is wrong. The amendments are actually in the order they’re in to align with the articles of the Constitution.
