The Russian Invasion
Here’s an ad from Kalashnikov that appeared on Guns & Ammo
Not bad, right? Notice the logo on the left corner, does that not looking like our American eagle holding an AK? I welcome this development. When it comes to guns, the more, the merrier. American, Russian, Russian-America, I do not care. Bring them all!
Umarex: Want to shoot more?
Umarex wants you to shoot more, I agree, I want to shoot more, I want 30 rounds under a dollar, but an air gun? Come on! You can’t tell me an air gun feels like a gun.
What do you think? Are you an air gun aficionado? Can you honestly tell me that air guns are more fun than real guns?
The SAFE Act was not enough for gun haters
Give a gun banner a mile, and they take an acre.
Despite 2013 passage of the SAFE Act, gun control advocates in the Legislature on Monday said they believe there is still a lot to do when it comes to weapons safety.
Ben Carson on Guns
The Des Moines Register wrote an interesting article on Ben Carson, here’s the gun part that concerns us:
Oregon: A Background Check for every Gun Trade
With the exception of close relatives, this is the newest infringement on the 2nd Amendment.
SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon Democrats have muscled through legislation expanding background checks to cover nearly every private firearm sale in the state.
House lawmakers passed a bill Monday making it illegal to transfer a gun to someone who isn’t a close relative. Private sales would have to take place in front of a licensed gun dealer who can run a background check.
The bill would make Oregon the eighth state with universal background checks. It goes to Democratic Gov. Kate Brown, who has indicated support. Advocates say no other states have passed such legislation this year.
Republicans have opposed the measure since it was introduced and hundreds of opponents flooded legislators with emails and calls urging them to vote against it.
But last year’s election helped Democrats increase their majorities in both chambers, paving the way for the bill’s passage.
Gun Salute for a Royal Baby
In gun-hating England, they’re marking the birth of the blue blood baby with a royal gun salute.
Royal gun salutes will be fired today to mark the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby princess.
The deafening volleys will ring out across the capital this afternoon in celebration of William and Kate’s second child who was born on Saturday at 8.34am, weighing 8lbs 3oz.
