Sat, 11/08/2014 - 17:26

I knew

Is this selling paranoia?

Sat, 11/08/2014 - 17:14

Is this selling paranoia? That’s what a liberal would think.

The same liberal who would ignore this story:

Concealed Carrying Grocery Store Worker Shoots and Man Armed With a Gun Making Threats

This is why we carry, to save lives.

Knife Ad Looks Like Gun Ad

Sat, 11/08/2014 - 16:53

How do you sell knives in a gun magazine? Here’s one way to do it:

They have a nice collection of knives, including tactical, everyday carry, etc, I think the most expensive one is around $200, and yes, SEALS carry them or so they say.

In Canada even Cops are Disarmed

Sat, 11/08/2014 - 16:16

In America, most cops are pro-gun, except for a few. Those few should pay attention to this editorial, the gun control you support today will disarm you tomorrow:

Let off-duty cops carry guns

In two days, we’ll turn out by the tens of thousands at Ottawa’s National War Memorial and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

We’ll gather, too, at half a dozen other cenotaphs across the Ottawa region and we will unite as one in a solemn salute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We know emotions surrounding this year’s services will be heightened by recent attacks on Canadian soldiers here in Ottawa and in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que.

And crowds will be large, despite obvious security concerns.

Those concerns have prompted legitimate debate about whether it’s time to take additional steps to ensure the safety of citizens in Ottawa.

Not just on Remembrance Day and not just on Parliament Hill.

The national capital is a highly symbolic target that is vulnerable to terrorist threats. We are home to dozens of national institutions. We are also home to thousands of military personnel who, along with police, appear to have been specifically targeted by terrorists.

Hand Doctor’s Gatling Gun and Lamborghinis on Auction this Sunday

Sat, 11/08/2014 - 00:57

It’s good to know that the awesome guns of an infamous individual won’t end up being melted and turned into stupid arm. If you’re going to be in Houston this Sunday, you might like this auction.

The last two high-end possessions of infamous Houston hand doctor Michael Brown go on the auction block this Sunday, ending a year-long liquidation intended to satisfy the millions in debts remaining after his death.

The multi-million dollar empire of the hand surgeon crumbled under the weight of drug use, multiple marriages, domestic violence accusations, and massive debt, until his attempted suicide and eventual death in Florida late last year.

Websters Auction in northeast Houston was commissioned to auction everything from his guitar collection, guns, machine shop tools, extensive art pieces, even his collection of cowboy boots.

“Everything had to be top of the line, he had good taste,” said auctioneer Billy Webster who says as many as 10 of their auctions have included the late doctor’s possessions.

Up for auction now are the doctor’s last two expensive cars: a 2007 Mercedes S550 and a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago. The Lambo, one of only 4,099 built between 2001 and 2010, has an estimated retail value...

Jessie Duff’s Taurus Ad

Fri, 11/07/2014 - 19:30

STSA loves the ladies who shoot, specially world champion pistol shooters like Jessie Duff. So check out this ad from Taurus. Beautiful woman with a beautiful gun.

Carry On indeed!

P.S. Why does Taurus market guns to women? Because Taurus isn’t a sexist company, liberals.

Mini Revolver Ad from North American Arms

Fri, 11/07/2014 - 19:17

Would you want to get shot by this? That’s the question asked in this terribly-art-directed ad. (being pro-gun doesn’t mean supporting bad layouts)

GALCO: Don’t bring a flashlight to a gun fight

Fri, 11/07/2014 - 18:58

I would think a criminal that “came prepared” would be bringing a real weapon and not a flashlight. Either way, I like the visual and the headlines.

Cleaning your gun can improve your shooting

Wed, 11/05/2014 - 20:40

That’s what Tetra Gun Care claims, yet I wonder if Tetra is any different from any other cleaner.  Here’s something I’d like to see, show me a top marksman shooting a dirty weapon and we’ll see if his marksmanship really declines.

AlienGear Offers 30-Day Holster Test

Wed, 11/05/2014 - 20:35

Have you ever bought a holster you didn’t like? I did, and after returning it to Amazon I still had to pay for the shipping. So this offer is intriguing:

The price is reasonable, although if I know anything about advertising is that “as low as” usually means “the model you actually want costs a lot more.”

Still, a forever warranty is a bold feature, assuming you’re organized and keep the warranty somewhere (I don’t).

Concealment for Ambidextrous Shooters

Comrades! No More Russian Rifles!

Mon, 11/03/2014 - 19:43

Here’s an ad that you’ll either love or hate depending on your enthusiasm for military relics:

In the ad business we call this “long copy.” They’re a pain in the ass to write, and get approved.
