Chris Rock is not anti-gun
Chris Rock want’s you all to know that he’s not anti-gun, even though he went to an anti-gun event and wants more gun regulations.
Comedian Chris Rock talked about his previous support for gun control while hosting this week’s “Saturday Night Live” on NBC.After joking about the commercialization of Christmas, Rock said “Jesus tried to help. Hey, I tried to help. You get hurt for helping, that’s what happens. I went down to Washington, DC, for an anti-gun event, anti-gun thing at the White House. I’m not big anti-gun. I just think there should be some regulations just in case. Listen, the same way I can’t drive a NASCAR down the street, I shouldn’t be able to have a machine gun in my house across the street from a school.”
He continued, “so I go to this thing, and it’s me and a bunch of celebrities and we speak out against guns. And I come home, and I check out my website…and there’s all these threats on there. ‘I’m going to kill you’ ‘I’m going to put one in your head.’ ‘I’ll slit your throat.’ ‘Don’t you dare come between me and my weapons.’ And I realized, ‘oh my God, I need a gun. I need a gun. Right now.’”
Rock then concluded, “from that moment on, I said, ‘I...
Make War with Maxpedition
I love military-style gun ads, #Maxpedition rules even if they don’t sell guns but gun-related paraphernalia.
Just in case a liberal sees this page, I’m not advocating war, just good ol’ survivalism. If the s-word hits the fan, you’re gonna need your gear.
Don’t let crooks steal your hunting guns
If you love hunting deer, beware of how you storage your guns, you’re a target for gun thieves:
Deer camp burglaries expected to riseIf history repeats itself, hunters can expect to see a rise in burglaries in the coming weeks.
“Your deer camps, of course, because of the nature of what they are, they’re in rural, isolated areas,” Martin Pace, Warren County Sheriff, said. “They do fall victim to property crimes.”
And as hunters begin to bring more gear to camp for hunting season, camps become more attractive targets for thieves.
“You see an increase essentially two times out of the year,” Pace said. “One is during the season itself on weekdays when no one is there, and they are stocked.
“The other is after the season when they are essentially abandoned.”
During the season, one of the biggest concerns is gun theft.
“First and foremost, we always encourage people to not leave firearms when they are away from camp,” Pace said. “Firearms need to go with the hunter.”
While most hunters don’t leave guns at camp, there are plenty of other items thieves are interested in. Protecting that property is a matter of basics.
The most obvious line of defense is keeping everything locked. Check windows and doors before you leave camp.<...
73% of Americans don’t want handguns banned
Good news for gun owners, most Americans are with you:
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Less than half of Americans, 47%, say they favor stricter laws covering the sale of firearms, similar to views found last year. But this percentage is significantly below the 58% recorded in 2012 after the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, spurred a nationwide debate about the possibility of more stringent gun control laws. Thirty-eight percent of Americans say these laws should be kept as they are now, and 14% say they should be made less strict.

Americans Say Possessing Handguns Should Not Be Banned
As support for stricter laws regulating the sale of guns has dwindled, the percentage of Americans who say handguns should be banned has remained low. About one in four Americans say handgun possession should be banned for everyone except the police and “other authorized persons” such as security or the military. A near-record high of 73% of Americans now say that handguns should not be banned.
Felons need to practice gun safety
Gun safety is for everyone, including lawbreakers. Here’s why:
A Desert Hot Springs man who accidentally shot himself and his son Thursday afternoon was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a gun.
Police were called to the 66-600 block of Estrella Avenue just before 2 p.m. where they found the teen and his father, Ronald Russell, 36, wounded by a shotgun.
Both were being checked at a local hospital for non life-threatening wounds from birdshot after the shotgun was mishandled inside a garage, Sgt. Jim Henson said.
Birdshot are small pellets loaded into a shotgun for hunting birds.
The investigation is continuing and no other details were immediately available from police.

Bloomberg Can Be Beat Because Our Votes Can’t Be Bought
A powerful reminder that money doesn’t buy votes:
The NRA should put those words on a T-Shirt. I’d buy it.
Dillon is not afraid to say Merry Christmas
Every year PC gets worse, if you think the war on Christmas was invented by Fox News, I have news for you, you don’t work in advertising nor do you pay attention to the news. Because at my job the war isn’t just against Christmas and Jesus, it’s against Santa himself. I’m shocked we can say “Happy Holidays,” as if Atheists believe in concepts such as holy or unholy. Yet Dillon Precision is not a PC company, they spent big bucks to advertise in my favorite NRA magazine, America’s First Freedom, and here’s their ad:
Not the most creative, but when you show a sexy blonde with a gun, you’re breaking to the clutter! And if you cay Merry Christmas, even better. Sexy, pro-gun, and pro-Christmas. Kudos to Dillon.
