The Chinese Gun, Knive and Explosives Buybacks
In China it’s almost impossible for anyone to own a gun, “China has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, banning even hunting for sports in most of the country. In the 1980s, many of the police forces that still used firearms forced their police to turn them in because the weapons were so frequently misused or stolen.
Tax Criminals, Rhode Island, not Gun Owners
Here’s a story that makes me mad:
Lyn Roos doesn’t want guns in her house
I like the opening line in her letter to the editor, but then it falls hard and fast.
We do not need the government to pass a gun control law. We who are the household providers need to stand up to our own families and say “no guns in my household.”
Usually people bring guns into the household for the family protection against intruders but how often is it our own family are the ones to use the gun out of anger or mistake?
If you have a person in the family unit (sometimes a teenager) who we are concerned about– get the guns out of the house.
Especially if you are afraid of this person. Stand up with courage and take the guns out against their will. Not for our sakes but others.
This is the only way that we can stop the madness without getting the government involved.
Parents need to take control of their own household.

George Orwell meets Rahm Emmanuel with Video Recording of Gun Sales
While Rahmbo isn’t putting cameras in our bedrooms, he wants the persecuted gun dealer to be overburdened by the expense of recording every gun sale:
Months after a federal judge ruled its ban on handgun sales was unconstitutional, Chicago has responded with a sweeping ordinance loaded with strict regulations.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported Tuesday that Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) is proposing rules that would require videotaping of all gun sales — a move designed to warn buyers against transferring firearms into the hands of criminals. The ordinance would also include special-use zoning that limits gun stores to only 0.5 percent of the city.
Ald. Walter Burnett Jr., who represents the city’s 27th ward was among the supporters, telling WBBM newsradio that the plan sends a “very serious” message.
“This is just letting everyone know that we here in the city of Chicago are very serious about gun trafficking going on in the city of Chicago,” he told the radio station. “So we want to make sure if a person is proposing to do some gun trafficking here, we want to limit them as much as possible.”
Emanuel’s move arrives ahead of schedule. After U.S. District Court Judge Edmond E. Chang ruled the ban went “too far,”...
Joe the Plumber: “your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights.”
Since Martinez is using his new-found fame to bash the 2nd Amendment and nobody’s standing up to that bully, I’m grateful that Joe the Plumber is speaking up:
“It’s a tragedy,” wrote Joe The Plumber. “I am sorry you lost your child. I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now. But: As harsh as this sounds – your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional
“We still have the Right to Bear Arms and I intend to continue to speak out for that right, and against those who would restrict it,” Joe the Plumber wrote, “even in the face of this horrible incident by this sad and insane individual. I almost said ‘Obama Voter’ but I’m waiting for it to be official.”
Hey Michael Moore- Americans aren’t the only ones that kill people
Never mind the mass shootings in Sweden and Germany, Michael Moore has decided that it’s us Americans who murder people.I say murder because killing in self-defense is not the same thing as murdering people, and you don’t have to be an English major to know that. I’m a communications major, and I know that.
“We won’t pass the necessary laws, but more importantly we won’t consider why this happens here all the time. When the NRA says, ‘Guns don’t kill people — people kill people,’ they’ve got it half-right. Except I would amend it to this: ‘Guns don’t kill people — Americans kill people,’” he wrote. “Enjoy the rest of your day, and rest assured this will all happen again very soon.”
