Columbine Survivor Sets Obama Straight
One of the rules of public relations is that the person with the most credibility has the most power. If you’re PETA, you want a former cattleman telling you not to eat meat, if you’re the ACLU and you’re defending the 1st Amendment rights of a Nazi, you want a black or Jewish lawyer; and in our case, gun owners, nobody can speak more powerful than someone who was shot and remains pro-gun. Evan M. Todd wrote the following:
Mr. President,
As a student who was shot and wounded during the Columbine massacre, I have a few thoughts on the current gun debate. In regards to your gun control initiatives:
Universal Background Checks
First, a universal background check will have many devastating effects. It will arguably have the opposite impact of what you propose. If adopted, criminals will know that they can not pass a background check legally, so they will resort to other avenues. With the conditions being set by this initiative, it will create a large black market for weapons and will support more criminal activity and funnel additional money into the hands of thugs, criminals, and people who will do harm to American citizens.
Second, universal background checks will create a huge bureaucracy that will cost an...
Letters of Recommendation won’t stop Gun Crime
Someone needs to teach uninformed teachers like Needler some common sense
“To buy a gun, you need 3 letters of recommendation: One from a family member, one from a friend, and one from a co-worker. If your family doesn’t trust you, you have no friends, and your co-workers don’t know you well enough to trust you, then you shouldn’t be able to own a gun.”

Getting paid to shoot guns is awesome. and as you can see in this video, Kalani Laker shoots really fast without losing accuracy.

I love people like him, it’s how we remind the government who’s really in charge.
Lake of the Ozarks bans open carry
I guess 90 million gun owners don’t have families and don’t go to places like Lake Ozark, Missouri.
LAKE OZARK, Mo. (AP) - City leaders in a Lake of the Ozarks community have voted to ban open carrying of firearms to boost the area’s image as a family friendly tourist destination.
The Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen on Tuesday voted 4-2 to approve the ban, which still allows permit-holders to carry concealed weapons. The Lake Sun Leader
Robbed and Shot “In” Gun Store
This is a tricky story, their headline was:
MAN SHOT, ROBBED IN GUN SHOPYet when you read the article, it clearly states the the patron had his firearm stolen when he was outside.
Sonic’s Open Carry Ban Causes Crimes
Is it coincidence that Sonic’s ban of open carry has brought crime at least three times? I can’t prove it, and to be fair, concealed carry isn’t banned. However, when you tell law-abiding gun owners to take their business elsewhere, when you’re ammophobic, you’re sending a message to every bad guy in town: This is a Crime-Friendly Business.

Businesses go to Gun Shop for Protection
It’s nice to know some businesses are getting guns instead of demanding gun bans.
Businesses Taking Extra Precaution Following Nearby Fatal Shooting MIAMI TOWNSHIP — Miami Township Police are searching for answers in a homicide at the PF Chang’s restaurant Wednesday night while area business owners are pulling together to protect their shops.
Many say they have noticed an increase in crime around the Dayton Mall area and law enforcement says drug activity is up too.
David Becker owns a gun shop behind the mall and says other business owners have been coming to his business looking for protection.
Many of the business owners say police are doing a great job but they also look at for each other.

Cop’s Lost Gun Recovered
MDA likes to claim that only cops and the military can be trusted with guns, well, apparently that ‘s not the case.
Melbourne police have located a semi-automatic Colt M16 rifle that had been missing since January in a patrol officer’s home.
The gun was returned to the department on Wednesday.
“At this point we’re not naming the officer, only because of the ongoing investigation,” said Sgt. Sheridan Shelley.
The rifle had been given to the officer in the past, but due to an oversight in inventory procedures, it wasn’t found during an audit. Police are investigating how the gun went missing and how to improve their system.
The weapon is one of 65 rifles that came to Melbourne through the federal Law Enforcement Support Office, which helps distribute military surplus items to law enforcement agencies nationwide.
In January, police staff were counting the rifles to file a report with the state, which oversees inventory procedures for the federal program. At first, two rifles were unaccounted for, but one was later found after supervisors conducted searches of all officers’ patrol cars and lockers.
Officers are tested each year on each weapon they’re issued by the department. Shelley didn’t have details on whether the...

How to open carry meme
Here’s an interesting meme:
I don’t think the selfies or seeking attention are necessarily a bad thing. Open carriers are not shooting people, yes, the finger should be off the trigger and the weapon should be carried like you’re almost ready to shoot someone.
As for the what to wear, I do agree that dressing nice help, but who knows? Sometimes bank robbers wear suits and tie, so there’s no guarantee that the ammophobe won’t be scared because you’re dressed to the hilt.
Social media makes people think there’s more mass shootings

Australian admits Gun Control doesn’t work
Our “Constitutional Scholar” president thinks we should go Confiscation-Style like the Australians did. So this letter printed in The Truth About Guns is very revealing:
